What anime are you watching at the moment?

Agreed. Though I kinda liked NaruTaru, Bokurano is better. At least I thought the manga was better. I've not watched the Anime.
I don't read manga, so I can't compare them. As for the anime, Bokurano is definitely better, although you might be disappointed if you're a manga purist- apparently they changed quite a few details, and the ending is different due to being made before the manga ending. Narutaru, on the other, is crap (Its main problem being that it just ends without resolving anything- I guess it was cancelled?).

I nvr finished NaruTaru or Bokurano
Manily cuz I couldn't remember the names xD
But I heard they started to begin "sucking" near the end

Is that true?

NaruTaru was a horrid anime simply because it left you with no good ending. As for Bokurano, I've only read the manga and I'm unsure about watching it's anime.

I went out and bought a bunch of new manga:

-Blood Alone Vol. 1 [Vampires and Detectives, bleh... Except I'm really diggin' this one.]
-Ceres Vol. 1 [Not por moi.]
-Gundam 00 Manga Vol. 1
-Evangelion: Shinji Ikari Raising Project Vol. 1
-Eureka Seven Novel Vol. 1 Blue Monday

I'm also reading Octave over the net.

I think I may like Utena Adolescence more than End of Evangelion... I don't get as horribly vivid nightmares from it.

Still need to get to Read or Die. I want to try Blue Drop though.

Considering my stance on Bleach I really only watched the first episode and that's only because dubbed Rukia is voiced by Michelle Ruff who usually does good dubs.

It was ok. Johnny Young Bosch was an alright fit for Ichigo. Every time I hear him though I just think of Lelouch or Ratatosk.

I'm back from watching Rebuild 1.0 dub in the theater and holy ****. Just holy ****! Yes there is some holy **** in Eva, but this is the expletive. HO-LY ****!! I loved it! Fantastic. Each battle was more spectacular than the last culminating in the crazy re-imagining of the Ramiel fight.

A few things bugged me though:
*Kaworu speaks as if he's been through all of this before or at least met Shinji some good time ago. Anno will never stop trolling us will he?

Also
Thar be coffins on teh moon. Is Kaworu a moon-vampire? He can speak to Seele on the moon. WAT?!
Evangelion was doing pretty good with it's technobable up until then.

The final scene is just incomprehensible to me.

*Even for a shortening of the first 6 or 7 episodes there seemed to be a lot of buffer. Not even the helpful sort. I must say that the comedy portion felt somewhat awkwardly placed. Still hilarious, but just a bit awkward.

*Not enough mental introspection! Meep! I want my free anime psychology course in Hi-Def!!

*I think I might have missed this in the show, but did Gendo really carefully plan the three pilot's trainwreck lives himself? Purposefully? Like Asuka's as well?

WAT?!

*Lilith is all different now. Doesn't bug me too much, but why does Seele have the same logo...
-Actually, now that I remember there was a giant with the Seele mask on
the moon with Kaworu.

-Maybe the one in Central Dogma is
a fake Lilith or a different Seed of Life all together and they(NERV) don't get it.

Still I loved the movie and
the red sea
was a good touch.

Damn lucky. I'm a major fan of the Evangelion series & can't wait for the live action movies.
I'm finnally going to see the Full Metal Alchemist Movie tonight. I love that series.

Watch the end of Samurai X
Its better if you can find the directors cut of it as it at least trys to explain some of the back story
You will like the end

All this talk of series I haven't herd of makes me feel like im a new to anime

I have stopped watching Vutiful Joe as the only way I can watch it is via a very bad dub and its not that good anyway

I stopped with Glass heart
Not that its a bad series its just I really don't feel like watching a long series.
On to Eden of the East witch so far is good.

Never mind, I found something. Key the Metal Idol, spiritual predecessor of Lain.

I watched that one. I liked it. I also can tell you've been on TVTropes recently.

If anyone here can hook me up with the subbed version of Utena I'd die of sheer happiness. All I can find is the movie. While I do love the movie I want to watch the show!! :frown5:

Rented the EVA DVDs yet again. I should get around to renting the Ghost in the Shell DVDs.

Blood Alone was a good read. Need to pick up the other three volumes and the Shinji Ikari Raising Project Vol. 2 soon. I only have around $280 though. Darn it! Need to order the rest of the 0079 and Saikano mangas.

Hobby shop guy is trying to get me to buy the high grade Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts figures. Unless they're from a Tales game, a discount Gundam model, or from a good Yuri anime I won't buy figures.

I really dislike the JUNK manga. It's sooooo slooooowww. If our protagonist is gonna start raeping his friend/cousin/classmate/Ihavenofreakingidea and I'm just sitting there yawning then it likely indicates that you're very poor at writing.

Just watched Umineko episode 15. I think we have a new contender for "most absurd death scene ever" with...
...Rosa and Maria being drowned in jelly then crushed by a giant cake.
Bear in mind, this is not a comedy.
