Well i was basically saying, how there shouldnt be multi type in the gyms, well not two multi types, as you need some variety. and how you can get people to change to become a type etc.

what do u mean? we let our gym leaders choose the type. being a certain type, perhaps a water type, means u need to use pkmn that r either only water or water+any other type. multi type means they can use any type of pkmn, so they can have water, ground, grass, fire, and basically any type

Gym leaders are meant to be so the challengers can improve and be ready for what the Gym Leaders techniques are. This will also make the Gym Leader's job fun so they can try to beat the trainer with only one type of pokemon..

i mean so they can apply and improve techniques to try to destroy that type of pokemon

our main goal is to improve their strategies to get ready for the elite 4... whats the point of forcing a gym leader to use all 1 type if they dont want to, i mean, if u challenge a grass gym, ud use an all fire team, which wont be affective versus the elite 4, nor does it improve strategy
