This is my first update of Format '13, and this is roughly how they'll be organized, with non-factual information, (Thread-wise), at the top, and a little at the bottom. I'll have a link to all of the previous updates, and the most up-to-date Challenge List. I do ask SPLASH_KING, please strike my Heartgold Unevolved/Scramble from the Hall of Fame, as it was not properly updated, not on the Challenge List, and is getting on my "nerves."

UPDATE #1:

I started Heartgold with a cheery message from Ole' Proffessor Oak, telling me things I already knew, like how to walk and such. I met my "Mom" who gave me the Options where I quickly made things as fast as possible, and I set the text box's color to purple. I went to a study where Pokemon walked outside of their Pokeball, and recieved Totodile, whom I did not nickname, because I didn't want to grow attached to it. Professor Elm told me more things that I didn't care about, and it was off to Mr. Pokemon's house. I arrived at the house with Totodile at LV. 6, where Professor Oak told me things from the Bulbapedia homepage. I recieved the Togepi egg, and brought it Elm's lab, but on my way, I ran into some kid named Silver battled me, who I smashed to a pulp. Then Lyra taught me to catch a Pokemon. I began the Sentret hunt. I ran into one after four Pidgies, and after I through my Pokeball, I realized it was a female. I named it "Faker", and it became my first HM slave. Then I began looking for another Sentret when... HOLY SHIZZLE... A SHINY! I through three Pokeball, and the third caught Mr. Pidgeling, a non-nickname for the Pidgey*. I decided if I was migrating it, I wouldn't be able to re-name, so its name stayed Pidgey. The next wild encounter was a Sentret I called Johnny, whom I caught and put to the front of my party. I hadn't played HG/SS in a while so I walked around outside of tall grass admiring either the ridiculously awesome-looking Pidgey*, or the really cute Sentret sprite. I continued along route 30, (And yes, I did register youngster Joey.) I reached CherryGrove, and eventually Violet, as a Sentret, but when battling Bellsprout-Worshipper, Johnny went throughan incredibly fast puberty, and came out a ferret thing. I walked through the rest of Sprout Tower, examing how Furret's overworld sprite was not nearly as cute as Sentret's, which I thought was wierd after "evolution"...

I arrived at the top and destroyed Mr. Bad-pun, Elder Li. I saw a quick glimpse of that Chikorita-thieving a-, Silver. He talked about weakness or something. I was finally able to challenge the gym, where I walked on the invisible tiles to look like a floating badaz, but then challenged the trainers anyway. I bat the gym with ease, (The second time), then marched through R31/32, taking all the annoying Pokegear Numbers I could find, before going through Random Cave, and emerging in Azaelea Town. A gang member pushed around Old Fat Guy, and apparently the universe didn't want me to ignore it, even though ther isn't a single police force in Johto. I went to some psycho's house, who apparently could make high tech size compression and cosmic physic devices out of fruit. I swept the gang members in the well, and went to the Pokemon gym, which, like the rest of the town, was insane, and the leader, and everyone inside (except me) was obsessed with bugs. I went through the entire gym without any real competition, and destroyed a girl-boy with purple hair, who gave me money, a CD, and a piece of metal. I continued past Azaelea...

... and met Silver, whom I lost to twice, do to Ghastly cursing me and Bayleef poisening me. I passed Silver who talked about something Team Rocket, something weakness. I beat the Farfech'd puzzle and met Kimono girl-Flareon, and showed her out of the cave. I then went to meet Lyra's grandparents, and that's pretty much it.

I don't have anything more to say, but I'll probably edit the bottom here to avoid double-postingness.

SSR UPDATE

I beat gym #7 at 2:41. I just had a look at my previous speed run time and realised that I'm 1 hour and 1 minute ahead.

I beat Wallace at 3:03.

I'm hoping for a time of under 3:53 for this run (bonus points for anyone who guesses why :lol
That gives me 50 minutes to get to Victory Road, get through Victory Road and beat the E4 and Champion. Any bets on how long it'll take? I personally think I'll get my target of 3:52 or less

Defeated Clair and was denied the Rising Badge

Did bull**** quest for the angry lady and finally got my Rising Badge

Was told the Kimono Girls from Ecruteak wanted to see me

Beat all the Kimono Girls and got the Clear Bell

Got dragged to the Tin Tower and had to fight Ho-oh

Used the Master Ball and stuck him in the PC

Finally got to go to Kanto

Entered Victory Road

Got challenged by Dylan before I exit Victory Road

Arrived at the Indigo Plateau

Defeated Will

LAST SAPPHIRE SPEED RUN UPDATE

I'm standing outside Steven's room right now with my Swampert's HP and PP at the max. I'm currently at 3:33 which means the champion battle would have to take over 20 minutes for me to not get my target of under 3:53. Things are looking good


I beat Steven and became champion of Hoenn at 3:38!!!

I'm extremely happy with this time

I did the same challenge mid-late December, when I first joined, and got 5:06. Needless to say, this is a huge improvement. This time also gives me the best time in this Hall of Fame (that's why I wanted under 3:53 :lol



I'm going to start my Sapphire Moveset (SM) now because my eggs aren't ready for my B2 Scramble


FIRST SM UPDATE
This one is quite short.
I got my Mudkip from prof. Birch and saw it was female (12.5% chance) I then went on to battle May and Mudkip levelled up. When I could, I went to route 102 to try and find a Ralts (4% chance). I found one in my first encounter.
Getting a female Mudkip and finding a Ralts in the first encounter have a combined chance of 0.005% :lol:

Gonna wait until I get my eggs to carry on, may train Riolu on the wild Pokemon outside the next city every now and again, unfortunately I can't access the WFC without an [h=1]Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector, so it may be a while until I can access one of those. I'll get back to you when I have one.
On another note, how do I find my friend code and does anyone wanna swap codes to battle/trade? Could be fun
