Yep, on mine too... but, what exactly updates? Happened with a few games.

Basically it just is a Wii system update to block off Modded consoles, if your console is modded Galaxy won't work however some Mod chips have updated it to get around the Galaxy border.

I got my copy because the guys at my local EB insisted i would love this game......


And they even let me return TP( after 6 months..)....and the guide, to swap for MG and the hardcover guide.....


Why?.....because all i do is play MP on 360(halo,cod4, r6v)....my wii never gets used.....( TP was not to my liking.......)...and they all felt that MG would bring me back....


they were right.......and I'll tell you something else....


everyone comments on the fun, graphics, gameplay, visuals...



what no one mentions is the sound track......


I have it hooked up to surround sound...and the MG music( in dolby pro logic II) is equal or better than anything on my 360...uncluding HALO 3......

just a GREAT soundtrack......

i got mario galaxy here in australia yesterday - the day before the release. eb games sold it to me early... anyone know how i can dob them in?

I hate eb. they charged me $100 and galaxy is being sold for $79 most places today (i only paid more because i'm not able to get to the shops again for a few days). bastards!
