Well, the best bets to getting a Wii would be Future Shop or Best Buy. I got mine from Zellers but i got someone's wii who put it on hold and never came for it. Check Best Buy and Future Shop's website daily and phone atleast one store of each every day and but no time you should get a Wii, thats what i did and it paid off.

I called my local BestBuys today and they said they should be releasing them Friday!! Although they didn't confirm it 100% because well...they don't physically have the Wii's yet, but i trust that they will have them!
Gonna get there at around 3am, hope that'll be enough time? Think it will?

Got some actual information for a change, with regards to North Shore stores (and possibly all of Vancouver):
Getting to Wal-Mart at opening is a wild goose chase; they usually come in, via UPS, between 9am-noon.
Futureshop gets theirs in the afternoons mostly, between 2 and 7pm.
Best Buy, as many have already figured out, gets stock whenever, but they hold them til Fridays.... this creates the crazy lineup situation, but at least Wii hunters know when and where to be...
Are these times applicable across the entire VAncouver area? Unconfirmed.
Progress though, lots of us are doing the early bird thing and it turns out they're never there until the couriers deliver them, usually later on...
