each of the big 3 have something going for them, but may lack (compared to others) in something the others may do well.

What is going to save the Wii? It has no serious games which can compete with other platforms, the majority of the games on the Wii are aimed at children.

Ease of learning to play? It's aimed at children, and so it should be simple to learn.

Hours and hours to be fun? Most of the games on the true next-gen consoles are fun from the beginning, as well as incredibly deep and detailed. Take Bioshock for instance.

an fps on a console with dual trigger is not user friendly. it take time to be able to control the person.

Have you ever looked at the top selling game titles of all time? The top 10 are games like Mario,Tetris and Pokemon and all of them are Nintendo titles... Get a clue... The casual gamers make up the majority of the market and they are the deciding factor in who sells the most.

The Games your talking about are "cult favorites" They have a nice fan base following and are great games but besides that fan base they dont go much further.. With Nintendo titles not only do you get the Nintendo hardcore fans that buy up everything Mario,Zelda but you also get the casual gamers buying it up too... Maybe you dont like the games thats your choice everyone has different taste in games but "yours" is probably still gonna loose to whay you view as a "kiddy game" so just get use to it.

I would like to add on to this^^^

Take a look at how fast Halo 2 and halo 3 died.

For a few months halo was popular, but it died within months.

Melee has been going on for YEARS since 2001, and still hasnt been forgotten.

How fast did Bioshock die?

Like a month or two after it came out.

Pokemon has been going on for YEARS and still hasnt died either.
