ya i think they mean for the jap ver. o wait wrong forums. Anyway ya there is like 2 ways to unlock every char.

this game swill kind of make every person on the same level of skill. so now i dont think the tourny is the only challenge people find.(no wavedashing:O )

Of course wouldn't that make Pikachu pointless.

Well I guess since Pichu was in Melee, it made Pichu pointless being a less evolved pokemon than Pikachu.

well what if riachu was like an alternate of pikachu....like a costume like wario....and dr mario was marios alt....and toon ganondorf is an alt....all things id love to see but alas will not see

I was suprised that Dr. Mario was not one of Mario's alternate costumes, same with Marth and Roy aswell IMO.

The difference to me is that Wario's alternate costume isn't a different character, it's just another costume that he's infamous for wearing, Dr. Mario as Mario's costume is a different character.
