the ~Ask Anyone Anything~ thread

I watch a lot of ghost hunting TV shows and some episodes are creepy and they find evidence but I believe my grandma's story more than those shows.
When my uncle died there was paranormal activity in her house like footsteps and noices and some other stuff. My mom and aunts also heard the noice when they were trying to sleep. But ghosts is just a belief that may or may not be real.

I really dont beleive that. Your grandmas story doesnt really clear anything up. Many things can sound like footsteps or weird noises depending where someone lives. That story doesnt say anything.

1) No...

2) High five!

Right on.

Do you guys believe in ghosts?
I do.

I did at one point when I was younger, but no, not anymore. Most of what one would have figured was ghosts was easily explainable. I do however believe in the existence of extraterrestrial life (not in the form of those little gray midgets).

Probably a bunch of rats or some other rodent.

You guys let this thread die, this badly? I'm shocked.

I have 2 questions..

1. Would you be able to live without music having already been exposed to a large amount?

2. You wake up in the morning on a perfect Saturday, and get a call from a girl you've been dying to get serious in bed with after countless months of talking, flirting, and kissing. She wants you to come over to her place for some hot loving, you arrive and make out together... to the moment when it finally happens, you nail her. A few weeks have gone by and you truly feel this woman could very well be the love of your life forever. Later that night you two begin to discuss your darkest secrets... you tell her yours, and she's surprised but loves you even more than ever.. and now it's her turn.

As surprising as it could ever be, you find out she's into the most kinkiest of things possible. She's had sex with her pets, played with a few rotten logs from the toilet, enjoys the occasional heavy bondage while on babysitting hours, loves being raped on Tuesdays, flirts with her father 2 days a week along with her 90-year old Grandmother, loves watching her brother crossdress and pretending to be a transsexual, she does not fail to also mention that she has her fair share of child pornography on her computer where she fantasizes of fisting young children, however due to strict laws she can only settle with midgets. She continues to go on and on.. the list, almost never ending.

You pause, how do you react, what are your feelings for this woman whom you wished to spend all life with?

1. Yeah, I think so.

2. I would probably stay with her for awhile trying to talk about her bizarre fantasies so that I could get some perspective on where her head is at (after all we all have our quirks and issues. The real concern is our motives and reasoning behind them) and if she'd be willing to stop some of that stuff if things got more serious between us. Depending on how that turns out would determine if I would leave her.

Judging from the list, you made, though, it's likely that I would eventually end up leaving her.

1. What the point of this thread?

2. Why am I typing this?

3. Why is this red?

4. Seriously, why am I typing this?

I was watching this documentary on TV and they said that aliens were here in Earth way back to around the Mesopotamian days. In matter of fact they said that aliens were the ones that taught early farmers irrigation. Mesopotamia was taught in 6th grade history. That's what they said on TV and it sounds weird but they found a fossil of a skull that wasn't human, it was big and they think that it's an alien. :^•

5. Why am I still typing this?

6. Why am I typing this rather than playing Star Wars Battlefront 2?

7. Why does Michael Jackson exist?

8. What is Spaghetti?

Aliens arent that hard to comprehend.

For those that haven't seen the picture taken by the Hubble telescope, it can be pretty hard for them to comprehend the existence of complex alien life outside of our solar system (or any life for that matter) ... like, my Uncle for example who still believes the moon landing was fake.

.. then again, he'd probably say the Hubble deep space image was photoshopped..

Interesting.

To answer my own questions:

1. Yes, I would be able to live without music... but it would be a very depressing life. I would much likely end up developing a habit of humming, whistling, and making music with whatever objects i have.

2. I'd have to sit back, and take it all in at first.. then ask for a moment to myself. I'd then talk to her about it, so we can get on the same level. As open and accepting as I am to so many bizarre fetishes/fantasies... if she didn't give up some of her extreme fetishes (or at the very least kept it away from me from that moment on), I would eventually have to leave her.

Flick the "On" switch of your brain, and that will answer your 4 questions.

Another question..

You come home from an excellent day of hard work from your school/job, and enjoy the rest of the evening to relax. The moon is up, and you're ready for a good night's rest.. you end up dreaming a dream so good you don't want it to end, but sadly it does only to have you wake up to pitch black at 8:00AM... you can't hear anything, and you can't feel anything either. You realize that possibly the worst has happened.. You're blind, you've lost your hearing, and you no longer have the sense of touch, taste, or smell.. completely blocked off from the world in what could be described as a pitch black prison of eternal silence and loneliness.

What do you feel would realistically be your immediate reaction to this? How would you cope with this if you were able to? Would you want to die? Would you endlessly hope for a cure and continue on living? Say you have a family or loved one, you will no longer be able to see them, hear them, feel them, nor speak to them.
