Super Smash Bros. 4

It is what it is, Nick. Honestly, I don't have the time to put into the game right now, nowhere near it. Got too much other stuff goin on, I will still comment in the Team thread, but I'm no longer building tam or anything for the time being. I've hung up my metaphorical pokeballs for now. Ill return eventually I'm sure, but for now I am retired.

On topic... WiiU developers are currently working with the system to integrate Skype video chat while you play online, taking the idea of Online Gaming to the next level via live video feed through your tablet controller with whomever is in your party. Pretty intense if you ask me. Can't wait to see what other goodies they add.

On another note, the Xbox Revolution is targeting a release for November of 2013. No news on the next PS system yet though.

SSB4 needs a bigger focus on stamina matches; not just allowin' it over online play, but havin' an online mode specifically for it. Wholly decreased knockback and gimps bein' much more difficult as such creates a completely different metagame to smash in, and considerin' how easy it'd be t' achieve said metagame, even if it ends up unbalanced that'd hardly matter so long as stock remains balanced.

To continue my pointless tangent, I regretfully have turned in my DS and Pokemon games and have retired from the world of Pogemanz for the time being. [/pointless announcement]

WAT? D:

Then need different online modes in general.
A 3 Stock 8 min match with no items and selective stages
Stamina match
2 min item match and so on

or it should give you the choice to make your own rules to play by and people who join your group have to play by those rules

@CK: I just don't have the time and lack the creative energy for it. The Team thread has laid dormant for so long now it almost takes the point out of it.

I wonder how viable Sableye and Mawile would be for N to use in SSB4. Both Hoenn and Unova need reps, and if they made it a lone Unova Pokemon + Sableye + Mawile, you'd have both covered. My logic is that Sableye and Mawile are the only counterparts in Gen III that look quite a bit different (not Illumise/Volbeat, Plusle/Minun, Solrock/Lunatone) would work in Smash Bros (Not Swalot/Claydol, Camerupt/Sharpedo) have different types (not Shiftry/Ludicolo, Beatifly/Dustox), and are notable (at least Sableye is notable). The only other things that fit this are Seviper and Zangoose, who I doubt will be used for two reasons. Neither of them are particularly notable, Seviper might be a tad awkward to play as, and they're rivals; they wouldn't be on the same team.

I was thinking Zoroark/Sableye/Mawile at first, but Zoroark and Sableye have the same typing. That's why I think they should use something else from Unova. Options:

-Victini/Sableye/Mawile
-Keldeo/Sableye/Mawile
-Meloetta/Sableye/Mawile

This is just my opinion, fueling by two things only: One, I think it would be a great option, and two, I f-cking love Sableye. Mawile is cool too. <3

Yeah, definitely no Mawile. You have no reasoning for it, honestly.

If they're that worried about having a Hoenn rep, then they wouldn't have cut Plusle/Minun.

I just gave you my reasoning. -_-

The fact that they're the only viable Hoenn counterparts make them the best option in my opinion. Sableye itself is notable too.

They must have wanted a Gen 4 rep and a trainer first. And I'm not saying I can read the developers minds, I just like this option.

By Pokemon standards it's just a bit above average for that. No weaknesses, and the fact that it represents all three Hoenn games with its gems. Gen V also made it more famous at least among the more knowledgeable fanbase by giving it Prankster.

My logic is that since they're probably only going to introduce one new Pokemon character, you'd be filling two generations by making N with Sableye/Mawile/???. N could use Plusle and Minun, I guess, but they seem too notable to not be their own character, and variety is good, since they're basically the same Pokemon with a minor stat difference and different colors. If they want Hoenn and Unova reps, this is the way to go, imo.
