Captain, your Wii's dead. Happened to quite a few of us. You could try replacing the disc reader component or whatever it's called, but simply cleaning it likely won't help.

Damn it man, he's still a boy. Even if it's to be expected on the battlefield you could try to soften the blow to him.

I'm gonna try to clean the lense by detaching the Wii parts tomorrow. If that doesn't help, well then... I don't know where to get a new Wii with GC-controller functions.

And now, suddenly for some weird reason, my Wii isn't able to read Wii discs anymore... So now I can't even play offline anymore!

Lol Mega Knight is soooooooo bad right now..

I have a Wii U yeah... But I can't play GC-Games on there (no they don't work anymore either) nor use GC-Controllers... so yeah.
I hope you'll be able to use GC-Controllers for regular Wii games as soon as the GC-Adapter releases.

I feel sad how easy the game lets you unlock the characters... Melee was a challenge (if you were only playing Multi), and Brawl took a while too. I finished in a mere 3-4 hours. : (
No events? C'mon. And only 35 challenges that aren't even challenging...
I guess there's trophies to collect, but the completionist in me was hoping for a hard, long fight to 100%.
Gotta wait for the Wii U now to make up for it.

There's multiple challenge boards that gradually get harder like in Kid Icarus: Uprising.

My one true nemesis, Lucina, has finally fallen from grace. That 5 loss streak from yesterday shall no longer consume me. Them constant grabs though. While they were driving me crazy, there was very little risk of dying to the character. Seems the player was aware of Shulk's counter and so avoided smashes. Shield was especially helpful, as was da monado's reach.

I am one of those people who use Smashes a lot because its almost impossible to kill without them, that and I play Ike.
I died to the smash art+vision so many times. Though if I know they will play Shulk I go to projectile characters and then they will hate me.
