And masked link would totally be amazing. He would definitely be in my top 3 characters, even if he sucks.
Too bad I don't see that happening, since they're not really going into the "multiple characters in one"-theory.

Haha I'm just glad I don't already own EVERY GAME on the free list. I already have New Mario U, Wind Waker, and Pikmin 3 so I was like "dang I already have all these games!" Then Wii Party showed up. Don't know how good it is but I guess now's the time to try it out.
I have beaten Pikmin 3 and loved it. Just remembered it also had DLC but I'll get around to that after tending to my backlog of games some more. On a Smash note I and probably everyone else called Olimar getting Winged Pikmin but I was still happy to see them as his recovery. I wonder what his Final Smash will be since the item pretty much does a weakened version of it.

Europe finally gets something more than North America (way more free games to choose from) and I already found forums full of raging kids.

When I bought my first console, the Gamecube, I was sooooooo lucky to get it with Mario Kart Double Dash + A LIMITED ZELDA EDITION

At the time I was too young to know exactly how it works, but despite that I had a lot of fun with ocarina of time
I didnt get majora's mask cause I'd always reach the 3rd day, but now that I get it, I'm really happy about getting so lucky.
But I never got a liking for Toon Link. I just didnt like the art style and it turned out to be the only toon link console game.
But now I finally have the chance to play Wind Waker, not in HD, since I don't have an HD TV, but still.

Just, don't go for New Super Mario Bros. It's not worth it and you can already get it for a cheaper price.

Even if he's down to three Pikmin I personally think the whistle is an important move to have. What games did Europe get?
I don't think the whistle will me that important anymore when he only has 3 pikmin left... Even though you and probably some other do, wouldn't a Rock Pikmin be more awesome? (At least I hope it will)

Damn! I still need ALOT of those games that I would have taken over Wii Party U...
The thing about the whistle though is that there can be situations where the Pikmin can get stuck behind an object making Olimar entirely vulnerable while being unable to pick new ones at the same time because his current ones are not actually dead. The whistle causes the Pikmin to basically teleport to Olimar making them basically at his side at any time they're not attacking or dead. If the ship is not the Final Smash anymore though, perhaps the Rock Pikmin could replace it somehow? Like an avalanche, Ness/Lucas style?

As for the NSMB series, the only games worth playing (in my opinion) are the DS/Wii version and Luigi U. I didn't like 2 and Mario U pales in comparison to Luigi U. This is coming from a person who's played, beaten and completed all of the NSMB games. I wish 3D World was an option for this free games thing in the US since it's a really good game that unfortunately gets shelved with the NSMB games. Such a shame.
lol, I don't think they're gonna update or bring a DLC for the soundtrack >.< But yeah, good point, it is pretty important. Loved the ones from Meleen and Brawl
And yeah, kinda weird that even Europe can't choose Mario 3D World. I guess they're expecting people who buy MK8 to buy that game as well

A grand point. But the whistle has even more utility than that, 'specially now that Cheapimar only has three Pikmin: not only is order management easier to do, it's more important since you'll be using the same Pikmin for attacks more often. You do want Yellow for all'a your U-smashing. You don't want the purple Pikmin to shorten your grab range unless your target is in grab KO range by purple. You don't want t' be usin' the poisonous Pikmin for your Smashes. And speakin' of the white Pikmin, after a successful Side B you can call 'em back before your opponent kills them to use 'em again
The whistle also plays other important roles. The super armor can be abused to amazing effect when recovering high. Speakin' of recovery, the whistle saves Pikmin you F-smash off the stage (which was a fantastic edge guarding tool, btw).

Well there's no reason NOT to! That game is fantastic and an absolute must have for any Wii U owner.
