Super Smash Bros. 4

No.

One games' roster change (from Melee to Brawl) doesn't count as a pattern. Pichu was included to represent Gen 2, but removed 'cause clones. Mewtwo was included for bein' an immensely popular fan favorite (a huge reason why he may return), and could've been removed for a multitude of reasons; the suspected one bein' a lack of development time. People think Lucario blatantly replaced Mewtwo, but that's unlikely to be true.
I meant correct about them probably wanting to add a Pokemon from Gen VI.

Saw this while viewing the X/Y thread (dat coincidence).

... Have they really confirmed the price yet? The game isn't even out.

since namco are helping nintendo to make super smash bros 4 they could add players to game from Tekken and Soul Calibur

No.

Sakurai only lets in the best'a the best third party; and very few at that. If we get a Namco character, they'l have t' be far more iconic than a not-so-iconic fighting game character like Jin. Snake is not at all a household name like Megaman or Sonic, but still sets the bar very high. 'Specially since Kojima 'n Sakurai are apparently friends, Snake likely wouldn't of gotten in otherwise.

it will long before time it come but they mention on of nintendo direct few months ago it will be arriving some time in 2014 around spring 2014 but official date i up, but i would prefer stick to nintendo direct thrust nintendo direct since nintendo are creators of ssb and nintendo direct will keep us posted whats going on with ssb 4 and eventually they announce release date on nintendo direct

there were 13 playable characters in ssb 1, in melee there were 20 playable characters, brawl has 35 playable characters, you see each series has more playable characters then last one, so ssb4 should have more playable characters then brawl,

Technically there are 37 characters
If you count Pokémon Trainer as 3 different characters you get 39.

Math isn't everything.

... MR, don't even start.

Melee is terrible as an example in this (not at all true) pattern of large increases in characters from title to title. This is because clones took up a third of the bloody roster. The Doc, Ganon, Roy/Marth (... which one is the original, anyways?), Pichu, Young Link and Falco were all clones. Melee only introduced seven truly unique new characters. Brawl introduced a mighty seventeen, which is an incredible number for ANY fighting game roster's sequel. You can't add 17 fighters from one game to the next more than once. It just doesn't happen.

Furthermore, Sakurai said himself he may be removing characters due to time constraints, and we shouldn't expect more than a handful of new ones. We might not see so much as a 25% increase in the cast, and obviously not an outright doubling.

Looks like he's playable too? I think he's just a skin, thankfully.

Wow this is big news for costumes in Smash 4.
That means it's possible to get a Chrom and/or Roy costume over Marth with a voice over and other things. But this could also be considered an Anti-Clone Engine because now they can add Fox and Falco as one character and so on. Not that they would do it but it is a possibility.
