It seems to me SEGA's slowly clawing their way towards figuring out a good 3D Sonic formula. The only 3D Sonic game I really enjoyed was Adventure 2 Battle, and I know many didn't even like that. Sonic kinda hit a low point with Shadow the Hedgehog, but the Sonic games have begun to steadily increase in quality. I'm probably gonna buy Sonic and the Black Knight, other than IGN's questionable review it looks like a decent Sonic game, something that is woefully uncommon considering how spectacular his early 2D games were.
