S.S.: Many people are reporting that Bowser has been extremely improved for Brawl.

He is expected to be High/Top Tier.

good, i hope he is, hes a great fighter, but has NO priority in attacks what soever. bowser needs ramp up, fox needs ramp down.

Peach's attacks aren't very good anymore? I really liked using her...

As for Bowser, I don't go for characters that are that heavy, the lack in speed is just too much against their mass of power, if anything, I want him to go a liiittle bit faster. I know if he was too fast that would just not be logical but, neh, some people manage to use him fairly well anyway.

And you HAVE to admit Knuckles, Shadow, and even Espio would be MUCH better suited for Brawl then Sonic himself but putting him in would be the only way to make that reasonable...

That's good to hear Leves...I still don't get the whole "tier list" thing but I've played as Bowser in every game he COULD be playable in so I pretty much MADE myself get good with him cuz he's so cool. The reason being my first ever video game was Super Mario 64 which I got for Christmas and then for my birthday I got several Mario plushes (including Bowser and Yoshi who are the only two that didn't get ripped apart by my sis =[) and so I always wanted to play as either one of them cuz they were both badass and I still had plushes for them and my mom's favorite character was Yoshi so I used Bowser.

So a six-year-old's logic is kinda screwy, what're you gonna do about it? :wink: Oh well, Bowser's still badass and the other reason was I had never imagined Bowser being playable until I got Mario Kart...I was stoked ^_^

I think you've just written out my childhood, but mine was on the Yoshi side. I was the player that no one ever wanted, and as a six year old, I wanted Peach, but as a four year old, my younger sister got in the way so I went for Yoshi.

He's still the character I use in Mario Kart and it was a fabulous choice I made.

S.S.: Think of the tier list this way:

If you played at the exact same level with every character, using each of their unique advantages to the exact same extent, the tier list would tell you who you would be best with.

The melee tier list was topped by:Fox, Falco, Shiek and Marth (in that order).

As of right now, Bowser and Metaknight are expected to be High/Top tier. Ike is expected to be very low/bottom tier.

A common misinterpretation.

Nerf is a term that means 'weakened.'

When making the game, the producers nerf and improve specific attacks, not entire movesets. Just because Peach's Dsmash was nerfed does not mean she'll still be a good character.

I really wonder how Ike will handle...like if he'll be anything close to what Marth or Roy were. He doesn't seem too "fast" and not too "stong"...just average-ish. Which is nice. Mario is average. He's nice.

In any case, Lyn really should've been playable, not some trophy..I was kinda sad when they announced her as a trophy.

And hey, look at that, GH III comes out in 8 days. Yay.

^Ike is fairly slow, but that is not the problem. Nearly all of his attacks have a slow start up speed, so he can rarely pull anything off. He is loaded with no-flinch frames and is extremely strong.

i dont really believe in this whole "tier" thing though. I've seen my friend(cpt. falcon expert) get beaten by a guy using Peach. unleess the character is like, maxed stats and cant fall off, then it matters the player using character, not merely the character. I even have a good deal of more fun playing with peach then marth. as long as i have fun, im okay.
