so i think sakurai meant "by only once" he probably meant one smash ball per character (if ther's 4 characters playing, then there's 4 smash balls for that match) but you can still steal the smash ball

Two things about that video:
1 - Smart Bomb FTW!!!
2 - It's a DEMO bub... looks like they have it set up to appear every minute and let the characters grab them. Why do I say that? BECAUSE SAKURAI SAID YOU CAN ONLY USE ONE!!! >_<

eh.. well, all i know is that Nintendo CAN change their mind about being able to use a FSA more than once. they have till February 10th. so dont think that jus because its posted on the website, its OFFICIAL.......

it's not saying you can only do it once per match

it's saying you can only do it after containing the item, and only than, you can't do it if you don't have the item

It was announced when FSA's were announced. I couldn't care less what your current sources say because its only logical that it could be used once, especially since its essential an auto-ko.

And then what? Every single stock is decided on who gets the smash ball first, and all the fighting inbetween is just in an attempt to get an edge on wherever the smash ball lands?

SSB will never revolve around items. Smash Balls will be an important element, but they won't be the most important element.

Sakurai is not about the change what Smash Bros stands for just to implement these items.
