Lloyd, too lazy to master WD for yourself? I finally got that stupid move down after like 3 days, and now I can't even do it...was never able to WS though, hard shitte.

im hardly lazy, i love to learn new things. i just dont agree with wave dashing. im commited to learning it, but i wont use it. im gonna continue playing my style and let that be my key to defeating wave dashers

i think mewtwo will be confirmed this week

for the past 3 hrs ive been on wii chat while being in my college class...teacher is BORING and uninformative.

i just had a thought, and i looked to the dojo for the answer. i find it intresting that under "How to play" - "Shielding and Dodging" they dont at all mention dodging in the air. the mention side steppin and rolling, but not air dodging. could this mean they took it out, thus wave dashing not possible???? hmmmmmmm

For those of you who haven't been keeping up with the E 4 All impressions slavishly, Wavedashing is out. I'm not sure what the specifics are, but it seems to be a unanimous impression that it is gone. Wavelanding, however, is supposedly in. l canceling is in too, but harder to do, and I hear it is less effective. Part of the reason is because air dodging isn't influenced by direction anymore but momentum. You can only dodge in the direction you're already going. You can, however air dodge more than once, if you have time, or even do attacks and jumps out of it.

I've not ever "mastered" wavedashing or some of the other techniques, and I haven't seen how they'd be game-breaking in a match against a non-wavedasher, but I'm sure that someone who can manage it fluidly might have a real advantage.

In any case, people will have to come up with new strategies for Brawl.

Hmmmm, good one...but not good enough...they didnt mention anything about wavedashing in melee....some random nerds figured it out and put it on the net....thats how we know about it!

*sigh* You guys are so out-dated.

Air dodging is back but you go in the direction of your momentum, you cannot choose where to dodge. Thus, wavedashing is gone and wavelanding is still in.
