I don't have Photoshop. I just play around on Graphics gale. I made my first sig(look at my sig) on Gale. Gale is a free program used for making sprites but it has great picture handling. Its also where I did my Avatar. I like it(Gale)! I used an M on my sig because I had to upload it to my Photobucket account.
I usually just play with negatives.
My work so far(newbie stuff):

Not that great but fun to do nonetheless. I'm a Zelda fanatic but I want to try some Halo sigs too. I'm not even compared to basic stuff but hey I like my crap so I'll keep making more :devil:

To me, having all three of those renders makes it a little crowded. I would get rid of one of them (namely the one on the right, only because I think the one on the left looks cooler ), and use the arcade one on its place. There's also about one-bagillion other things you could to it...but they're not so easy.
