Wii Sports = Boxing, Baseball, Tennis, Bowling, Golf ( ? )
Wii Play = Pong, Billiards, Table Tennis, etc.

Different games, but with the same premise of getting used to the controls. The difference I think, is that Wii Play is for Japan, and everywhere else gets Wii Sports. Not sure about whether or not it's Japan only, I thought I read somewhere that everywhere gets it, but I can't remember.

No, no. He's saying that WiiPlay is the equivalent to Wii Sports in the fact that it comes with the console when you buy it in Japan. I'm almost positive that WiiPlay will come on here, just not at the launch.
