Hi guys,
I just passed that part of the quest and I'm willing to share my experience. At first I tried to shoot the damned birds with the bow, but it was impossible :mad2: after my 20-th attempt I read on that forum that it would be easier if I use the boomerang. Actually I think that this is the only possible way to kill the birds. But you have to follow the wagon very closely (right behind it), lock on the bird(s) with Z and then send the boomerang with B. :thumbsup:

I managed to do the escort mission on my second attempt, although I only just made it through.

that part was so damn annoying. you need to use your boomerang if the cart catches on fire, and then you need to use your bow and arrow to take down the birds.

haha i was so pre occupied with the idiots on the hogs i didnt even realize i was just going in a giant circle around hyrul field or w/e for like 10 min. then once i realized what was going on i was so pissed.
