Rubik’s Puzzle Galaxy Coming To WiiWare -1.052009-12-08 13:40:15Maura STwo Tribes and The Game Factory have today announced a new series of Rubik-inspired WiiWare puzzle games. The first of these will be Rubik’s Puzzle Galaxy: RUSH, which will be released for WiiWare in Europe on 11th December and in North America on 14th December for 600 Wii Points.
“Rubik’s Puzzle Galaxy: Rush is a fantastic addition to the WiiWare library for puzzle fans both young and old,” said Martijn Reuvers, managing director of Two Tribes. “With Rubik’s Puzzle Galaxy: RUSH, players get a mind-boggling puzzle game that will really push their imagination and challenge their puzzle-solving skills to the next level.”
The game is based on the iconic 1980s Rubik’s Cube puzzle which has sold over 300 million units worldwide, and has the same familiar look as the original cube. There are 70 brain-busting levels in all, in which players attempt to ‘herd’ coloured cubes to their exit points using different tools, such as conveyer belts, warps and stop signs. Players will also get the original Rubik’s Cube gameplay thrown in as a bonus, where they can attempt to solve one of the four sizes, play the pattern-matching score mode, and learn how to solve the original Rubik’s Cube, as well as competing in a two-player mode and participating in tournaments and online leader boards. All that and it only takes up a weeny 113 Nintendo Memory Blocks!
