Ridley in Brawl.

^ Were you not the person who just told us to get on topic?
Anyways. As i have said earlier in the thread, in the subspace ridly could be shot with a shrink ray by the ancient mister. Lol. Wierd

We all know how well high-ness and posting goes together...

i think this will happen because there's only one metroid character (not including zero suit)

it depends how successful metroid prime 3 is
also i think wolf link would be better

1) Corruption did horrible. I think, however, that was only due to bad marketing on Nintendo's part; so this should have nothing to do with him in the inclusion in Brawl (we need at least ONE more Metroid representative, and Ridley deserves it the most by far of anyone else who has a chance of being playable).

2) Wolf Link has absolutely no potential for being a playable character.

It blows me away how you can make such statements. You have all this "evidence" about Ridley, but you can also blast any suggestion of Wolf Link of having any remote chances without any contradictory evidence. You know absolutely nothing. Tell me, who is your secret contact at Nintendo?

Aren't we good with the comebacks? If you feel smart by attempting to degrade my intelligence, after mis-reading my post, I'm happy for you. Insulting someone by blatantly saying "you know nothing" not only gets you no where, but can also back fire on you. Tbh, it's an incredibly stupid thing to do.

A for my comeback...did I say anything about his CHANCES of being in Brawl? No. Actually I didn't. I said his potential. As in a quality moveset (and other ways of pertaining to Brawl), including FSA. My "contradictory evidence" is that he lacks in diversity of moves. That's enough right there, since it automatically takes him out of the roster. If you did create enough moves for him to be a playable character, he would be ridiculously boring.

Down A: Spins on ground
Down Smash-A: Spins on ground harder
A: Headbutt...thing
Side Smash-A: Bites onto enemy

The rest of the moveset would probably have to depend on Midna. I'm sorry, but that is extremely lame to me. To top it off: 1) He was JUST included in the latest installment of LoZ, 2) The Link to Wolf Link ratio was about 7:3, or possibly 8:2 (plus, Link did all the major fighting with bosses, etc.), 3) From what I've seen on this site, and 2 other Wii sites (yes, I'm going to call this the majority of Nintendo gamers), Wolf Link was not well excepted. The larger percentage of players dreaded playing as Wolf Link. I didn't mind myself, it was a nice change up, but Normal Link (also, Zora Link, Goron Link, etc.) are WAY better (IMO).

P.S. What's up with you jumping all over me? I defended Ridley that once, and you've been after me since. Chill, dude.

So, lemme get this straight. You think he has no potential because you cannot think up a good move set. He also has less chances because he was in the latest installment of Zelda even though Link is Twilight Princess edition as is Zelda. (I imagine Ganondorf will be the same if he makes it in.) Curious how that works. After all that, you think it would be extremely lame, so he has no potential anymore. And don't try to pull the whole potential/chances discrepancy. Saying he has no potential is the equivalent of saying his chances are low.

PS - I'm not targeting you specifically. You are just the only one making stupidly outrageous claims.

I have to agree that Wolf link would be a bad move. First of all, why do we always need two links? Last time I checked, he was the same person. Secondly, as Tyler already pointed out, he was not looked highly upon.

You can never fully predict what Sakurai will do, however.

Wolf Link would be 1000x better than the whole Link and Young Link ordeal. :)

Anyway, Wolf Link aside, I was merely exploring the gaping flaws in ssbb_lover's argument. I agree that Wolf Link's chances are not good. (LOL @ "defending Ridley")
