How does the "Rep" system work sorry if this has been posted about already i cannot find it. How many reps do you need for one of those green squares? also how come some reps i get when i look in my profile the squares are grey and some are green?

The Gray bars represents reputation you have received from members who are newer to the forum so the rep you receive from them doesn't show up.
