"I alone carry little more than a very skilled magician. The spell that carries my wespons in the jewels seals their strength. This hides its presence. Quite usefull for surprising the enemy." The two of them reached the tower and began the long walk up it stairs.

--Meanwhile--

Xenth kept running, not looking back. He didn't know if they were following but he didn't want to find out either. He was well into Salfir terroritory now. Everywhere he could see was all plains and forests. I'll rest for camp tonight. Gonna put as much distance between me and that tower as I can.

"Ahhh.... how ingeneous..." Sekhmet said to Seth as they climbed the staircase. They finally reached the top, and rapped on Valentines door.

Meanwhile...

Storm Valentine had woke with a rush in his bed. He was sweating, and felt as though the world was caving in. He slowly sat up and caught his bearings, wiping the sweat from his forehead. He looked to his side and saw the girl wrapped in blankets, still passed out. The two holes on her neck had turned black, and her skin was beginning to pale. But he knew she was neither alive nor dead. He had made another...another Vampire.

Storm was searching his thoughts when he heard a loud rapping on his door. He lurched upwards, throwing his clothes on loosely, not bothering tying the bonnet. He walked over to the door and opened it slowly, revealing both Sekhmet and Seth.

"Ah...My dear friends..." Storm croaked. He grumbled as he went to his throne and plumped into the chair. His muscles were incredibly tense from the previous night. He snapped his fingers and one of his servants became immediately alert, coming to his side and procceeding to massage his back. Another came and attempted to pour him some of his Wine.

Valentine used his Vampiric nails and slashed the server across the chest, a small amount of blood dribbling from it.

"I did not ask for Wine...I had my fill before. Get me some Brandy." He gestured to Sekhmet and Seth. "Would you care for some?"

"No thank you, My Lord." Sekhmet replied humbly.

"Well then," Storm continued, "Com now, sit down. I sense you have good news for me. Well, spit it out."

Sekhmet gestured at Seth, "Seth has something he would like to show you. I helped him forge it, but he gets credit for its discovery and ascertaining it."

"Reap through the ages." A flash of light and Seth was holding his scythe. "Recently I left for a personal mission, hunting down a possible threat. I defeated him and brought him here. After some study on his equipment as well as torture even you may find cruel, I managed to get him to spill his secrets. He had found the legendary Conud Orb and somehow merged it with his armor. It was around that time I brought you the Makantes girl from Naxus. When I returned to my chambers Sekhmet was waiting for me. Some small discussion and we discovered the Orb could not be removed from the armor so instead we worked together and forged this new scythe. The man attempted to steal it but was cornered and eventually he fled for his life."

Seth bagan twirl the scythe in his hand. The blade began to glow. "So far we've only seen two abilities the Orb granted the scythe. It can create shockwaves with every slash, and can absorb then nutralize energy it comes in contact with. It may have more but we've yet to discover them."

"Ahhh.... that is indeed a fine weapon... and you say the Conud Orb is in this? My my my.... it is indeed beautiful." Storm smiled and hiccuped as he sucked down his Brandy. "I sense that the son of Zamikios is on his way to save the child of Makantes. I would urge the two of you to remain here until he does. You may do as you wish, but be sure to come when I call you."

Storm licked his lips, pointing at his bedroom door. "When Richand sees what I have done to his lover... You wont want to miss that show. Hm hm hm hm hm...." Storm chuckled as he slurped down more Brandy.

"Excellent work, my friends. I sense the end of the war is near... We must all be prepared for what lies ahead. The rebellions final swing will come soon, and trust me when I say, we will need to be at full power when it comes."

Nurgle was still riding after 2 days and nights passed. For some reason he did not feel exausted at all. What other gifts had the gods granted me. Nurgle saw a camp a head with traveling rebels. He chuckled to himself and rode towards it. He got off his horse and walked toward the camp. The rebels went for their weapons. "Stay where you are scum".

"My my what do we have here"? He looked at all the guards and their punyness. "I cannot let a band of rebels live when they are against the empire. THE END IS NOW". 1 of the men ran at Nurgle with their spear. before the man could get him with the tip of his spear, Nurgle morphed a spike out of his chest right into the face of the attacker. There was a loud crack when this happened. "Ha ha ha, do any of you pose a threat at all". The rebels looked at each other and charged Nurgle.

"Time to finish you off". Lets see what this ability can do. 1 of the men threw his spear then drew his sword. Nurgle morphed a sheild with his left arm then made a giant claw with the other. He ran toward the men in a franctic fury. 1 of the men went for a jab but Nurgle blocked it with his sheild, swung his claw, then cut the mans body into four flying peices in 1 slice. another man went for a jab of a spear but Nurgle rolled to the side stretched his claw arm out then turned his sheild arm into a battle hammer.

The rebels face ran into it then a sudden crack happened. The man with the sword jumped up and dived at Nurgle. Nurgle morphed both of his hands into giant hands and grabbed the man as he dived at him. He then threw the rebel into the air, hunched over, morphed his back into a spike pit and the man landed on it puncturing the body everywhere.

occ: FATALITY

He then went back to normal and pushed the dead body off his back. "Like i said you, all of you posed no threat". He then picked up 1 dead body and threw it on the horse. Your my future lunch. He then got back on top of shadowmere. "Lets go friend". The horse then reared up, roared and ran toward the southern part of Conud.

"Understood. I shall retire to my chambers until I am needed." Seth returned the scythe to the jewel and left. He traveled down the Tower to his room. He simply entered and sat in a large chair facing a window. The view was gorgeous, a perfect sunset. Everything is moving according to your grand plan, isn't it? Master...

Sekhmet followed and dissappeared into his own room. He looked around at the familiar devices, as if he had not seen them in ages. He began rummaging through his old artifacts, searching for the breaking point. He knew it was around here somewhere. He continued tossing junk to the side, when he heard a deep voice behind him.

Sekhmet.....Report. Said a voice.

Sekhmet turned around, walked into the center of the room, and bent down on one knee. A large image of what appeared to be a dragon emerged in the room, staring down at him. Its head was that of an Eagle, with the body of a Dragon.

Sekhmet bent his head and spoke softly, "What is thy bidding, my Master." The large figues mouth creaked open, and it spoke.

Sekhmet...It has been to long since you have contacted me....

"Yes, Horus, I understand, but I was....delayed."

That is no excuse. I gave you a fraction of my power to do as you please, and what have you brought me? Nothing but excuses for why my will has not been carried out.

"Horus, I apologize. I have failed you, but it was not my fault. The fault was yours, you did not give me enough power. The Fault was yours-"

Horus interrupted, How DARE You, Sekhmet. You DARE To Cast The Blame At ME? I Gave You More Than Enough Power. It Was Your Arrogance That Earned You A Spot In The Underworld!

"My Lord, perhaps if you gave me more power, I would be able to conquer my enemies."

Sekhmet, No More. I Will Take No More Of Your Excuses. I Shall Carry Out My Will On This Planet By Myself. Come, Meet You Fate!

The shadow screeched and dived into Sekhmet. All the shadow and darkness was absorbed into Sekhmets body. He stood up slowly a couple moments after it was complete. He opened his eyes to the world, and they were now a Feral Yellow and Red color. Horus has been unleashed on Renit.

Uh-oh...

This doesn't bode well.

Xenth was running. He planned on camping for the night but that was impossible now. A group of Destry soldiers saw and tried to stop him. When he cut through a man, they drew their weapons and began chasing him. The problem was Xenth was exhausted from his fight so he had to keep running. But now he was starting to slow down. Xenth was running by pure will alone, yet even that wouldn't last much longer.

"Hey, he's slowin' down! Let's kill him for what he did to the captain!" The soldiers charged at Xenth, who was now at a walking speed. ...Can't...go...any...farther...I'm...gonna...die...here... Xenth collapsed onto the ground. The soldiers neared him ready to kill.

Suddenly there was a flash of yellow energy. The soldiers were all sent flying away. A man stepped forward and kneeled by Xenth. "You poor man. Here let Dali help you." He picked Xenth up and carried him south as Xenth fell unconcious.

Oric reached the top of the wall, out of breath. He had just fought and defend two elite Destry warriors and now had to face a third, and an army of 70,000. He quickly reorganized his men, after his victory on the southern wall, Satra now had to attack him straight on. Her forces slowly moved forward, in perfect rows.

Oric called upon his archers to unleashed the first blow. From the walls high above the Destry soliders, arrows rained down. As they moved closer sufering heavy losses, the riflemen from Conud opened fire. Musket balls ripped into flesh, smoke filled the air, and more Destrians fell.

However despite Negliv's ranged attacks Satra's army was quickly closing in, holding three large battering rams at the front. Oric focused his fire toward the carriers of the rams, even drawing his own bow. As the carriers fell they were replaced by others, and bodies began to pile up at the gates. The first group had reached the gate, and Oric's men were ready.

Gallons of hot, boiling oil were dumped over the sides of the walls and onto the men. They all went down, some were crushed by the huge wooded battering ram, others held their melting faces and hands. But more importantly the battering ram was now covered in a burning, slick oil, making it unusable. The other two teams meet a similar fate, and more spears, bullets, and arrows fell from Negliv's walls.

Meanwhile...

Satra Morta had enough. She ran forward, ducking in behind her still advancing columns of soliders, spear behind her back. Satra's spellcasters, Umbra Morbus, began generating their energy shields again providing cover for their leader. She moved closer to the hugh wooded gate, stepping over dead bodies and focused herself. Satra's hands came together and quickly came apart, creating a large explosion moving towards the door. A hole appeared in it's middle, wood splintered on the other side and the doors caved inward.

She continued to run forward, blasting away the defenders and drawing her spear. She swung it high above her head, knocking back the men around her with the dull end, and cutting them down with the tip. Slowly her army trickled into the opening behind her, lossing even more men, but slowly fighting their way forward. Satra next focused on the walls above her. She created shockwaves that threw men over the walls and exploded inner organs.

Oric knew something had to be done and jumped down to face the Destrain General.

Satra directed her attention towards the man approaching her. He was well built, a little on the skinny side and sported long dirty hair and a beard. Oric took a few more steps forward, before stopping and taking a look around. His men were fighting bravely, but the Destrains had broken through and were slowly starting to surround the defenders of Negliv.

Oric drew his spear, and held his shield up in front of his face. Both felt heavy in his tired arms. Satra was the first to move, she sprang forward showing great grace and unleashed a few well placed jabs with her spear. Oric stumbled backward, each blow numbing his arm as he blocked them with his shield. Oric thrusted high but Satra blocked it with her own spear, and cracked him twice across the head with the blunt end.

A few more blows were exchanged before Satra managed to manuver inside Oric's shield and plunge her weapon into his arm. Oric dropped his shield, and tossed his spear forward, drawing his sword. Satra knocked the projectile away before locking blades with Oric. Satra swung her free arm around to connect with Oric's jaw, causing him to stagger back. She followed up with a kick to the ribs, and a spear end to the gut.

Oric coughed up blood, regained his balance and focused on his ring. The ruby shinned brightly, and red light shot out like a wall aimed for the Lady of Destry. She ripped a hole through Oric's magic with a well aimed blast and created two more smaller explosions near his head, ringing his ears and causing them to bleed. Satra blasted him back into a pile of rubble and moved closer aiming her spear at his chest.

She stabbed him once in the chest, and then again. Repeating the process until Oric was covered with wounds, bleeding out fast. At that moment Oric's pain left, and in a flash of white he was soaring high over a forest. He quickly noted he was in Salfir, after locating the old castle he had started the rebellion in. Then he quickly turned around, increasing speed, the landscape blurred. Oric was up above the battlefield when his movement stopped. He looked down on his body expecting to die, but as Satra rose her spear to deliever the final blow, and the Destrian soliders tightened their circle around the few remaining Drosins, his body sprang to life.

It moved quicker then ever before catching Satra off guard, and knocked her to the ground. It leaped on top and drew the large knife, cutting away at Satra's mail leaving behind a bloody mess. However Satra blasted it off her with an explosion that hurt both fighters. The Destian was the first off the ground, and attempted to finish Oric off once more. He was still spread eagled on the ground, in no position to aviod her blade. Then the most unexpected thing happed.

Oric's body lit up and a blinding, white light surrounded the area. Cracks formed across the Ring of Conud causing it to lose its glow, as a large wave off the hot energy hit Satra directly in the chest, turning her body to ashes. The wave continued on unleashing itself on the Destrian troops, leaving Oric's men unharmed. The battle weary men cheered, collapsing to the blood stained grass.

Oric watched as his body rose, limp into the air and a pattered circle of light appeared around him. Eight balls of energy rotated around him slowly getting closer to the center. One of the orbs, which was an off white color detatched itself from its orbit and shifted into an eagle. The bird of energy swooped up into the air and dive bombed into Oric's chest. His body jerked forward with the impact, dropping lower towards the ground. A second orb, this time with a brownish hue moved forward, took flight and entered Oric's body lowering him once more. His body was now just a few inches off the ground, and a last ball of energy pulled itself from the others. It was a bright red and repeated the process just as the first two did.

The moment Oric's feet touched the ground all of the strange lights disappered and Oric found himself facing a mirror in an all white room. He looked into it and didn't recognize himself. His once narrow face was now fuller and well defined. His body was more cut, and he looked balkyer, stronger, and wiser. Then his mirrored face began speaking in a voice much different then his own.

It said, "The Rite of Gia has granted you the powers of wind, earth and fire. You must use these gifts to find and protected the orb and find Richand. In this war basic infantrymen and archers will be no use. Return to Salfir, follow the eagle.

Once more Oric flew high above the ruined castle in Salfir, however this time he could see himself. He took the form of a large bird made of white energy. He circled a few more times before closing his eyes. As he opened them, he was wearing black armor, with a pair of blue and gold eagles on his chestplate. Their claws were locked together in battle, their beaks at each others throats.

Ooc: Holy God mod. Jk. Nice post lbu8. Satra pawned his ass in the beginning, but that was Epic. Nice job.

haha yeah i know, but thanks, just so you guys know, with the power of the wind, Oric can now turn into a large white eagle that can pass through objects and transport him short distances. But it can still be harmed by magic attacks, and Oric can't physically touch anything when using it. If you've seen the newest harry potter, think of how they can dissolve into the mist like stuff to move around. Oh and I made a small edit, basicly the huge blast destroys Oric's ring's magic.

Seth was meditating, trying to come up with the perfect next move for himself. Suddenly he opened his eyes. I've got it! The perfect spot, it must be around there! Sekhmet and Valentine must be notified. Seth was about to get up only to find that he couldn't. I believe it is time for your ritual Seth Covull. Ahh...Master. You cannot retain your near immortality without completing the ritual once every five years. Yes, I know Master. I was going to complete it soon. There are more urgent matters at this time. Fine, but do not forget to do it. You would die in minutes if it was not completed in time. I shall remember Master.

The paralysis left as suddenly as it came. Seth quickly left his chambers and headed for Sekhmets.

--MEANWHILE--

Where am I? Everythings dark. I remember...Seth...and running...from soldiers...Wait! Running from soldiers! That's what I was doing. Damn, since I collapsed I've probably been captured. You haven't been csptured Tervi. That voice...so familiar. You need to wake up Tervi. Where did I hear the voice from? Wake up!

Xenth's instantly sat up and opened his eyes. He looked around, hoping to recognize something. He was sitting on a white bed in the corner of a brown room. There was a table with three chairs up against the wall to his right. A small bookshelf towards the wall near his feet. It was filled witj old tatered and worn books. Overall the room was quite plain. Finally you wake! I'm outside, please come out. I'd like to speak to you face to face, Tervi. Xenth rubbed his eyes for a moment, wondering if he was still dreaming. After realizing it wasn't a dream he got up and went outside. The sky was a clear blue, not a cloud in sight. He was in the middle of large grassy field, green grass as far as the eye could see.

"Hello Tervi, I am Dali. I helped save you from the soldiers." Xenth turned and faced a man in completely blue robes. His robes covered his head but left just his face visable. "Why would you help me?" Dali smiled, "Because I am against Destry and its forced rule over Salfir. How are you feeling?" Xenth stretched his arms, "Pretty good actually. Haven felt this good in awhile." At this Dali got happy, "Great! I wasn't sure if the potion would work. Its been developing for quite some time. I made it by using chopped niglo berr..." Xenth had stopped listening. What a jerk, using me for a guinea pig. Still, I'm all better so I can't really complain. Now what will I do? I can't retrieve my Orb and I have no clue where the others are. I'll have to start researching the old texts. But the only place where copies are kept is the Grand Hero Temple in Conud. After what I pulled, going back there would be pretty deadly. "Tervi? Tervi!" Xenth looked back at Dali. "What do you want?"

"You haven't heard anything I said did you?" Xenth shook his head. "I lost intrest when you started talking about the potion." Dali looked a little frustrated. "Well if you had been listening then maybe you might have found it worthwhile." Xenth chuckled, "I may be a former scientist but even then i didn't like potion crap." Dali looked like he was about to strike back but instead his eyes glowed blue. Xenth tool a couple steps back, not sure of what would happen. "Xenth Tervi, you were chosen by a legendary Orb. You have been prophecized to both help save and destroy this world. You held great power but you allowed it to be taken and reformed. The gods are not pleased with you."

Storm felt Sekhmets power change, it altered the stone, and it even had altered the atmosphere outside. A few days ago, the ground was littered with snow. Mere moments after his exponential power increase, the trees and plants were shriveling up from the intense heat.

Storm simply smiled. He could feel Sekhmets power. Yet he also sensed another presence with Sekhmet, one he had not felt before. He could make out the figure's outline, it was a large dragon with the head of an Eagle. It had a vipers tail, and it was made of pure silver, coated in adamantium.

Who are you... Storm thought.

Meanwhile...

Sekhmet, now the God of Power Horus, a Bringer of Death, a Portare Di Morte, a powerhouse among the world, was overflowing with strength. It poured off of him, he gathered power, drawing it from nature itself. The raw strength he was accumulating was so great, objects around him were gaining incredible strength. If the Power drawn from Nature was a fountain, Sekhmets body was the seive, and it was flowing over the sides.

He could feel it pouring over him, and his eyes had lost all color, leaving them a blaring White color. His smaller body had begun bulging with muscle and power, turning a dark Greenish-Black color. His tattoos on his face and body shown a dark puprle, and what little hair he had receeded even more, and Horus's dragon horns had sprouted atop his head. His teeth forked themselves into Razors, and hair sprouted from his upper lip, drawing itself in a long, thin style, hanging off the front of his chin.

It spoke, its voice now at least five levels lower. "I....I am Sekhmet, I am Sekhmet the Portare Di Morte.....Heh heh heh, Ahahaha, heh he heh..."

Sekhmet clenched his fists, feeling his new power course through him. He could tap into its source, and he could unlock its full potential. His body, with Horus's assistance, was now strong enough to handle the power he was willing to receive. His nails grew out and forked, making themselves like Razors as well. His hands pulsated with power, and fire foamed from his mouth, seeping out between his teeth.

He smiled, because he could feel his strength growing. Suddenly, he felt an oncoming presence, and quickly reverted to his original form before they came in.

Nurgle was still running toward the direction of the temple when he heard men speaking in the distance. Must be another rebel caravan. He was getting closer and closer to the caravan. The men were walking toward the camp when they suddenly heard a roar. The rebels drew their swords and got their spears ready. Out of the woods came Nurgle on Shadowmere. "YOU WILL ALL DIE".

Shadowmere and Nurgle formed spikes everywhere on their bodys. They plowed through the men like they were the bowling ball and them, the bowling pins. They got to the other side of the road with dead bodies all over them. They shrugged the bodys off and looked at the rebels. "Come if you want to die". 1 of the rebels said,"come on,we cant lethim destroy this,it needs to get to the camp".

After saying that the men rushed Nurgle and Shadowmere. Nurgle tapped shadowmere on the shoulder and Shadowmere looked up when this happened. All of a sudden a dark portal came out behind them. The rebels stopped to see what was happening. Nurgle and Shadowmere wre slowly backing uo into the portal, but Nurgle had a phycotic smile when they were doing this. The portal closed with them in it. The rebels looked around, confused of what happened.

All of a sudden portals opened up all around them. Insane laughter came out of them has spikes rained out and impaled the men. This continued on until all of them were dead and they came back ut of the portal. Shadowmere suddenly reverted back to its normal form. Nurgle looked at him and said,"you exausted yourself. Let me take it from here". Nurgle got off of shadowmere and lit a torch.

"No supplies for the shitheads ha ha ha ha ha". He then lit all of the caravan supplie crates on fire. He looked to Shadowmere. "Lets go. We need to get to that temple". He hopped back on Shadowmere. "Haaaa haaaaaaaa". Shadowmere started running but at the same time Nurgle feasted on the body he saved up,giving some peices to Shadowmere while running towards the temple. "Heh, almost there. I can sense it".
