Xenth was slashing through enemies. He didn't have a scratch on him and the blood of his foes was staining his white clothes. So much fun! I can't believe I was scared of this. Xenth had a psychotic grin on his face while he sliced down the enemies. Some were trying to run but Xenth chased them down and stabbed them all.

"Xenth." He didn't hear, the slaughter was to entising. "Xenth!" Still no response, a Destry soldier was stabbed through his head. "XENTH!" Xenth whipped around and stabbed the man calling him. Then he noticed who it was. "Oh god, what have I done?" General Kylith colapsed to the ground, dead. "NOOOOO!"

----------

"NOOOOO!" Xenth screamed as he awoke. Seth was meditating and was shocked out of it by Xenth's sudden burst of life. "About time you wake. Now, don't try to escape. Your chained to the wall and your sword and armor is right here by me. I've discovered the secret of your blade but not of your armor. So you will tell me. If you ever plan on leaving the wall, that is." Xenth was barely listening. I can't break these chains, there probably enchanted for strength anways. Hmm? So he's discovered my blades power but not my armors? Maybe I can use that to my advantage....

"Fool, the armor is the simpler one. However it only responds to my voice and vital patterns so I couldn't tell you without putting it on." Seth chuckled, "You take me for a fool? I know what shall happen if I give you this armor. No, I'd rather let the secret die than free you. So do you actually plan on telling me or will I have to torture you?" Xenth wasn't surprised by the answer but played the part of the comedian to get what he wanted. "Oh well. I actually thought that would work, but guess you've heard that trick before. Well it still only works for me so how about this? You pull out your scythe and keep it near my neck and then you unchain me so I can demonstrate how it works. You see, it needs to be seen to be understood."

"I have a better idea." Seth waved his hand in a weird pattern and spoke the same forgotten dialect as before. His hand then began to glow purple. "This should make you talk. Servant! Go fetch a healer!" A servant quickly did as he was told while Seth walked to Xenth with his glowing hand.

Sekhmet's body was shattered. His breathing had stopped, though his conscious mind was still active. His conscious mind was still alive. He felt the strength of men as they heaved him down flights of stairs. He felt the damp, cold air of an underground tunnel. He smelt the pain and torture of a dungeon all around him. He then felt his body hit the floor with a thud. A few hours later, he regained his consciousness.

Slowly, he cracked his eyes open. Ever so slightly, his vision returned to him. He was indeed correct, and he saw the stoney ceiling, the test tables, even some of the cells holding prisoners. He found himself to be in one as well. Slowly, he stood up. He found that his captors had moved out of the cells, and were idley sitting at a table. He noticed two of them leave, and the last one stood in front of his cell gates.

Sekhmet staggered, and he walked slowly up to the cell gate. He slid behind the guard, taking the precaution to be as silent as possible. A puff of Green Smoke left Sekhmets hand, and travelled silently through the guards skin. It then came out and materialized itself in front of the guard, an exact replica of him, the phantom guard grabbed the real guard by the neck and, after wrestling with him for a bit, snapped it.

He grabbed the keys and unlocked Sekhmet's door. He gave Sekhmet the keys and then vanished in a puff of Green Smoke. He looked around at the other cells, each of them containing prisoners. He found one in particular that caught his interest. The prisoners name was Kaiburr Lacertus. Sekhmet knew him well, he had been a former warrior in Destry. Known amongst his subjects as the Juggernaught, Lacertus is an immensly powerful man.

"You there, Juggernaught," Sekhmet called to him. The giant opened his eyes and stood up, dwarfing Sekhmet quite completely by standing over eight feet tall.

"Whadda you want, Sorceror?" he replied.

"How would you like to help destroy Drosin....Aid the Destrian army once more....destroy the armies of Drosin."

Kaiburr grinned, his eyes showing the deepest malice and hunger. Sekhmet smiled back, and unlocked his cell. He and Kaiburr quickly made their way out of the dungeons, Kaiburr buldozing over any soldiers in their way. They reached the outside of the shattered Tower of Halgern, and Sekhmet could see Oric giving his orders.

The two of them made their way outside by the army, leaping across the fault. By using the secret way out of the city, they were able to avoid detection. They rushed up to the main General of the Destrian army, Satra Morta.

"Ahhh....Mistress Satra," Sekhmet gave his formal greeting, "I bring you good news. The south side of the city is weak, I recently caused an explosion there. The most of what will be there are workers, but that is the one place there is a hole in Negliv's walls. You can get them through the back, since you are on the attack. The "pidgeon-holeing" method, if you will."

Sekhmet waited for a moment before Kaiburr grunted at him. "Oh yes, this is Kaiburr Lacertus. I am sure you are familiar with his Juggernaught reputation. He will be a great aid to your onslaught. By the way Satra, be wary of Negliv. We greatly outnumber them, but their archers could spell our doom."
ooc; The Quest lives
ic;
Satra took quick of note of Sekhmet's advice, A bit angered her scouts haden't informed her of the weak spots. With her spellcasters canceling out Negliv's archers, her ground forces were able to continue to push towards the main gate.

Satra pulled her eyes away from the battle, and refocused on Sekhmet and his new friend. "Ah, yes Kaiburr. I have heard some great things about you. I want you to spearhead the attack on the weak wall." She summond a short, well built Lieutenant from a tent. "Move 20,000 men to swing around the left of the main gate. There is a breach in the wall. Move in and advance to the main gate. Kaiburr here will be your battering ram."

The Lieutenant scuttled off to give the orders, and a massive chuck of Satra's army slowly moved into position. With a wave of her hand, Kaiburr marched off at the head of the attack column. She turned back to Sekhmet, "So tell me Sekhmet, what went wrong? I was suppose to arrive to finish off a small number of Drosin's, engaged with the armies of Conud. Instead I find that both armies are behind walls, and ready to fight along side each other."

Meanwhile...
Oric Halgern noticed a huge force of infantry men moving toward his south wall. The frontal assult was still going strong, Oric had withdrawn most of his men inside the walls and his archers held off the majority of the Destrians as the last soliders of Conud trickled through. He issued orders for his battle worn troops to fall back into reserve and to have a fresh unit take up arms to brace the gate.

But now, he had a bigger problem. He saw why the Destrians were on the move. Sekhmet's blast had also destroyed a small section of wall, unguarded. Oric was angry at himself for not noticing the huge weakness in his defenses. He pulled a few hundred archers and riflemen from his walls and a group of about 10,000 men, leading them himself towards the opening.

As Oric's force arrived in position, he saw a huge man throwing repair men and soliders through the air like rag dolls. Behind him were some 20,000 infantrymen. Satra was going to try to win the battle in one sweap. Halgern barked out orders to his company comanders to position their troops. The riflemen stood up front, their muzzle loading weapons trained on the advancing Destry troops. Behind them where infantry, and behind the infantry were archers.

Oric waited until the Destrians were in range and yelled, "FIRE! Rid your homes of these unwanted guests!" A wall of metal exploded from the riflemen, instantly dropping any one in their way. Next a volly of arrows came screaming over the battlefield, and on top of the mass of Destrian Troops. Oric's riflemen fell back to reload, being replaced by a wall of shields.

Kaiburr broke off an arrow stuck in his arm, and pushed forward, throwing everyone out of his way. He grabbed a shield, ripping if off a man's outstreached arm. He weilded the heavy shield like a sword, send two, three men flying with each blow. He picked two men up by their throats, crushing their windpipes and tossed them aside. He continued to push and shove his way into the heart of the Drosin lines. However now he was cut off from the rest of his men. He stood among a group of broken bodies and enemy soliders on three sides of him. He was advacing much faster then the main force, which was now at a stand still.

Oric seized his opprotunity and jumped into the fray. He was still a little weak from his fight with Sekhmet, and almost second guessed his actions as he moved in behind Kaiburr. He drew his short sword and plunged it deep into the back of Kaiburr. The huge man swung around, drawfing Oric and knocked him aside with his forearm. More soliders came form behind him, swords drawn and attacked his thick, powerful legs. As Oric regained his balance, Kaiburr picked up a man by his feet and swung him in a circle. The man's head knocked against shield and sword, killing him and forcing the circle of Drosin soliders to grow wider.

Oric drew his long sword and spear, lunging at Kaiburr. The spear tip entered Kaiburr's leg, but didn't come out. He grabbed the shaft, and kicked Oric back. Spear still in his leg, Kaiburr swung a right handed punch at Oric's head. Oric answered with his shield, the blow denting metal and was knocked back. Next he drew his sword, swinging high. Kaiburr lowered his body into a charge, tackling Oric. The Prince of Drosin was quickly back on Kaiburr, stabbing at him with his large knife. Kaiburr caught his arm, holding the knife tip a few inches off his chest with his left arm and used his right to clobber Oric's face.

Oric dropped the knife and rolled away. Kaiburr lifting a sword from the battle field and swung it over his head to finish Oric off. A spearmen lauched his projectile towards the giant, who knocked it aside. However a few archers opened fire on his back, riddling it with arrows. Kaiburr staggered forward, intent on killing the Prince. The first slash was blocked by Oric's shield and as Kaiburr pulled back for another hit, Oric catapulted himself off the ground swunging a sword into Kaiburr's leg. The sword cut half way through before getting stuck in the flesh and bone.

Kaiburr still didn't go down. He pivoted towards Oric and swung. Oric managed to duck under the blow and climb atop Kaiburr's back. He pulled three arrows out of his quiver and lined then up on his bow, drawing the string. From point black range, he couldn't miss. All three tips cut into Kaiburr's neck, dropping him to his knees. Four riflemen stepped forward and fired into the human mountian. The balls opened holes in his chest, causing Kaiburr to gasp for air. Oric used a spear to finish him off, digging it into his oppenents back and watching him fall for the last time.

It wasn't over yet. More and more Destrian soliders poared through the opening fight fiercly into the city. Oric was outnumbered and outmanuvard. Negliv was in jeporday.

ooc; Storm I hope you didn't mind he killing Kaiburr. He was a great character and I tried to make his death equal to his role in the Quest.

OoC: sure you mention remembering Kaiburr but not Kylith?

and technically he can't complain about it cause Kaiburr was 3rd party meaning anyone could mess with him.

Ooc: Dude, that was completely freaking amazing! He was an NPC, and naturally, fighting an army, i knew he would not survive. But that...that was incredible! You have done his memory well. I think its fair to say that that was THE most EPIC post yet. Fantastic freaking job dude! It actually reminded me a bit of the movie Troy, where that one really strong guy held back the entire army.

Any way, that was freaking magnificent man. Excellent job!:D:D:D:D:D:thumbsup:

Nurgle then walked to the door and smashed it open by morphing his hands into hammers. The shards of the door flew all over the hallway. Time for me to pay a visit to Valentine. Hw alked up the stair case until he got to his room. He knocked and yelled,"this is Nurgle,im comin in". Nurgle then opened the door and walked into the throne room.

He looked around and wondered where he had gone. Time for a little experiment. Nurgle then formed 2 horns on his head then a demonic tail. He picked up a corps and started devouring it. At the same time ,he seen what he could do with his new power.

~mean while~

Zanaku was back in the burning village. He was chained up and taken prisoner. He was dragged to each villager on his knees and then the raiders executed them infront of him. He woke back up in a sweat charging another beam. He then didnt shoot it but just contracted it back in his body. He could tell it was night time cause black and purple aura was emitting off of him. He walked out of the tent and looked to the sky

He heard talking in Richands tent. He walked to the tent like a silent cat and went in to see Drake and Richand speaking. He turned to Drake and the anger he had for the Destry flowed in his eyes.

He heard talking in Richands tent. He walked to the tent like a silent cat and went in to see Drake and Richand speaking. He turned to Drake and the anger he had for the Destry flowed in his eyes.

Storm smiled while looking into his Orb. "Hmph, they are so naive..." He watched as Richand talked with Drake about a disguise.

"This outta stir things up a bit..." he chuckled as he muttered into the orb. Murder...Murder...Kill...KILL... He forced these thoughts into Richands head. Whether he would obey them or not was a matter of how strong his will was.

He heard a knock at the door, "This is Nurgle, Im coming in," said the voice. Storm quickly hid the Orb in his robes, and walked out to greet the guest.

He came upon Nurgle, albeit changed, demonic horns and a tail had sprouted from him, and he was mutilating a corpse.

"Hm hm hm, I see the Time Chamber has increased your powers...By the way, when your done feasting, go fix the door you broke. We wouldnt want anyone else waltzing in their." Storm smiled as he returned to his seat on the throne.

Richand suddenly felt a burning hatred for Drake.
"What... no.....!!!"
As if his body was not under his control, he began to reach toward his sword to stab Drake. However, sheer force of will held his hand back. Suddenly, he saw Zanaku and snapped out of his trance.
"Zanaku! Drake came back!"

Storm felt the orb pulsate in his robes, and he immediately withdrew it. He saw that Richand had not succumbed to his power. "Well...I guess he may need a bit more...persuasion..." He saw Richands eyes go towards another, Zanaku was what Richand called him.

Storm began to work his magic. He fed Richand dark thoughts in the voice of his father, You did do it, you know....Kill...You killed me...Kill....You were unable to save me, because you were to weak, just as you are to weak now...Kill...You might as well have been the one who pushed the sword into me...Kill...You were weak then, you are weak now...Kill...You might as well accept it, you are a killer...Kill...So do it, Killer...Kill...Kill...KILL!

well i didn't kill kylith, Acually Marx was probely my favorite charater in the Quest. When I said the Quest is alive it was always directed toward when you brought Marx out of retirement.

@Storm,
Thanks, As I was writing it I did think of Troy and I'm sure it influenced some of my writing. I'm really impressed with how well this rp has been writen. Cudos to everyone.

OoC: anyways back to this RP. Quest was great but its gone and we must move on.

IC:
A healer entered the room to see Xenth burnt all over. His skin was sizzling and in some spots, pure muscle was showing. "Heal him." Seth simply sst down to wait, however he kept his right hand up. It was glowing with a black and purple fire yet Seth felt no harm. "Will you speak now Xenth? This fire burns whatever it touches, except for the holder. The healer will remove your wounds only for me to reinflict them. Simply tell me how your armor works and I'll stop." Xenth was panting, getting exhausted from the pain. "I-I told you...it has-s to...be seen...to be un-understood"

The healer stepped back, all his wounds were gone. Seth got up and held the flame in front of himself. "I've told you to quit trying that obvious trick. Now tell me the secret." Seth reached forward with one finger and dragged it down Xenth's shoulder, leaving a bloody, burnt path of flesh. "AAAHHH! I'm not trying to trick you! It really needs to be seen! PLEASE STOP!" Seth pulled his hand back, the path he made smoked of burnt flesh. "What is the secret?" Seth again burnt Xenth but this time on the opposite shoulder. "AAAHHHH!"

IC
Drake stood up and faced Zanaku.
"I'm guessing you want to rip my heart out right about now, which i respect. You can do what you want i won't resist you. To be honest with you I .......... WHat" Drake stood silent as if there was a large beat behind him.
This ain't good, this feels really bad. Some one here is not themselves any more. The obvious choice would be Zanaku but no......"Oh god Richand"
Drake turned to face Richand.
"You errr feeling alright buddy"

'I... no.... ARRGGHH!!!"
Richand's face twistd in pain.
"It's...my father.... no... Storm... HELP... ME...!!"
As he said the words he grabbed his sword, and was about to stab Zanaku when another voice oierced the air.
"Crystal Dispel!"
It was if a weight had been lifted from Richand's shoulders. Siana rushed into the tent.
"Richand, are you all right? I heard you yelling from my tent!"
Siana suddenly realized Drake was also here.
"Drake! You're all right!"
OOC: Storm, hold off on meddling with the orb for now, the battle will start soon. Also, bayne, don't forget that Drake can make the choice of who to look like with the Illusion of Gemini.
