"Salfir is beginning to rebel more frequently despite it's proclamation of peace. The Zamikios child and the young spellcaster can be dealt with once our borders are safe and the rebellions put down. There have even been recent rebellions among the conquered dynasty here in our capital. I have dispatched soldiers already to deal with them."

"Gaining strength from your god is a gift and one that must surely be used. Despite my disbelief in them I find there gifts upon you most intersting."

"Before we can deliberate any plans, I must know. Where is Lord Valentine and Madam Satra?"

Richand saw flames erupting from the trees nearest to him.
"We'll talk later! Everyone, run!!!"
Richand picked up the unconcious Siana and ran away from the spreading flame, heading towards the edge of the forest.
OOC: So... is Jacob dead for good? :(... he was a good character.

Zanaku looked into the woods and saw the fire. Zanaku then jumped into a tree and jumped in the opposite direction the fire was coming from.

"Ah yes, Lord Valentine is on his way to the Grand Citadel to conduct negotiations for Drosin and Conud's surrender. Do not worry, he is safe. None would dare violate the sanctity of the Grand Citadel. Our recapture of...Salfir was it?...would be an excellent example of our power. I say, win through fear. Slaughter the useless Salfirians, and we are one step closer to winning the war."

"Let us test our theories in a mor competant manner." he said. A box floated over to where they were sitting along with a small table stand. Teh box opened, and shining Gold and Silver Chess peices sprang to the board.

"So my friend," said Sekhmet as he moved toward the table, "White or Black?"

"Don't you mean silver or gold?" Seth chuckled, "Silver. Its more my color." He smiled. This was the only battlefield he participated in these days, and Sekhmet was a worthy opponent. Their respective ages lets them use strategies centuries old. The last match they had ended in victory for Sekhmet, Seth hoped to change that.

"Slaughter them all? I wouldn't do that. Then we would have a peice of empty-blood stained land, useless and worthless. I would kill the leaders and the rebels to secure a fearful but loyal population throughout." Seth moved his king-side knight forward.

Satra had left the battle and was on her way back to Salfir to check up on her army. She hoped they would have found the rebel's camp by now and was ready to destroy the entire place herself. She was in a good mood as she rode into camp. It was mid-day, the sun shined high at its zenith. Satra approached the Colonel she had left the army in charge of. "Have you located the rebel's?"

The man approached nervously, "Yes, madam. We have men watching over it right now. I can take you their if you like."

"That won't be nessacary, prepare the army for battle."

Horns sounded as she went into her quarters and prepard. Satra had plenty of rest since her last fight and was ready to go, but her army would take another day to mobilize so unexpectedly. She had over 100,000 troops at her side along with her elite group of spell casters, Umbra Morbus which numbered in the hundreds. She planned to force the rebels into surrendering and then setting fire to the forest.

-Murcaster, Conud-

Oric arrived with his men in Murcaster at sun rise that morning. They had made their way through the city, being cleared through the seemingly thousands of guards on the way. They were now at the biggest building in town and the headquarters of Conud's highest ranking general. He commanded a joint force of Conud and Drosin soliders numbering 50,000. Oric approached the man, kneeling before him. "Sir, my name is Oric Halgern. I have recently been living with a group of rebels in the western forest of Salfir. We have been living peacfully, attacking the Destry supply lines, but much of our population is not in fighting condition. Sooner or later we will be found and destroyed.

We want to fight the Destrains, but we need men. That is why I have come. If you could spare up a few thousand men, we could occupy much of their forces and keep them from attacking your borders. Please sir, we must take the fight to them."

"Ahhh," Sekhmet said, "But take out the younguns, and the higher of the population falls in place." Sekhmet slid the pawn in front of his King two spaces forward. "The general population does not matter, they can always make more. If anything, we would be cleansing the underbelly of this continent."

"While thats true, remember the old country of Valse? The did that to dear old Genith, and it caused greater rebellion." Seth moved a pawn forward to block Sekhmets.

"What if instead, we send in a small elite force to kill the leaders then claim innocence and pin the blame on Conud? The citizens of Salfir wouldn't know if they can trust their so-called saviors and the Conud leaders start a genocide within themselves to figure out who did it. Crushes Salfir hope and cripples Conud strength."

"Oho," Sekhmet laughed, "my friend, even after all these years, you still have the sharpest mind for sabotage. Still," Sekhmet said while twiddling his fingers on his Queen-side Bishop, "Sometimes it is better to take a more...direct approach." Sekhmet slid his Bishop into place in front of his pawns. "Check."

"As if I didn't know. I plan quite far ahead, while you tend to barely plan your next 5 minutes." Seth moved his knight to block the check.

"Now if that plan doesn't amuse you how about another? We hire assasins to take out the top leaders in Drosin and Conud then plant evidence to incriminate the other? Salfir still loses hooe in its 'heroes' while Drosin and Conud either kill each other or cut off their allience. That allience is truely the only reason we don't have a bigger hold on this continent."

"Ah, this is true...However, that may work later on. My 5 minute thinking has worked before, sometimes the best plan," He moved his Queen out in front of his pawns, causing stress of "too be taken" to both knights, "Ahem, sometimes the best plan is no plan at all."

He had a servant pour him a large Vat of ancient Ammet wine. "Would you care for a drink?"
