I am a Water-type ninja, but not Greninja.

I took a look at my Lucario's stats post-Mega Evolution, and more than Attack was raised. Attack had a huge boost, but Defense, Sp.A (?!?!) and Speed all received improvements. Didn't double check with Charizard X, but I'm pretty sure it also received more than just a boost to Attack. Seems that Game Freak only mentioned the most prominent stats that improved for a Poke's specific Mega Evolution.

Another information tidbit for ya's: it takes 4~ minutes to recharge a single O-power node. Five recharged in 16~ minutes. This means each node either takes a bit less than 4 minutes to charge, or later nodes charge faster. Not a damn clue which. Didn't use a stop watch or nothin', I just made a mental note of the time and how many nodes I had (none) 'fore I ate lunch. So yeah, if you want t' level up your node powers quickly, spend every node at once when they're full and check back in half an hour. w00t efficient grinding

Also, Lumiose's art museum is awesometacular. The blatant TCG reference one'a the paintings and it's audio thing had made me lol hard. So unexpected.

Does Pokemon Ami give you any advantages? I don't really enjoy it and the only thing I know of is that you need it for Sylpheon

A certain number of hearts may or may not be necessary for all friendship-based evolutions. My Riolu evolved immediately after it got three hearts; but it was Lv. 30 at the time. It could'a been just a few points away from 220 happiness, and Ami might've simply gave it those few points it needed.

Enough affection in Ami gives your Pokes bonus evasion, critical hit ratio, a chance to shrug off status ailments, and apparently a chance of bein' able to Endure an attack... but I've yet t' see either Sylveon (who has maxed out affection) or Lucario (three outta five) survive a fatal attack.

Oh, and speakin' of those bonuses, the extra text related to 'em (Serebii was correct in sayin' generic lines of text change from "Go, (Pokemon's name!" and such) doesn't appear in Wi-Fi battles, even for Normal Rule battles, which has absolutely no restrictions. I've never seen any evades from my two Ami'd Pokes either when they shouldn't of, so it's almost guaranteed that Pokemon Ami bonuses won't appear in online battles.

Even after you enter your daily Lotto-ID, ya can do it again. This means you can trade a Poke in from elsewhere after you find out the day's ID, and thus win. Everyone should post their daily Lotto-IDs. If you're dumb 'n didn't bother explorin' Lumiose thoroughly, you'll find it on Estival Avenue, accessible from South Boulevard.

I've already started with my Haunter, Doublade, Drifloom (soon to evolve), and Sabeleye. Im hoping to find a Shuppet, Duskull or Litwick soon. Unfortunately I don't think Misdreavus or Yamask is in the game. Shame, would have loved to have seen a Ghost/Fairy type Mega Mismagus.

Base stats for the Kalos Pokemon are out on Serebii. I'm more excited about this than I should be. Though, they seem a little funky to me...maybe they're not totally accurate yet.

Edit: Clawitzer has a base physical attack of around 73? Wtf? Seems kind of a bit low for something with a giant crab claw.

And my estimates for Carbinks stats (50/50/150/50/150/50) were literally 100% spot on, if Carbink's base stats are accurate (they seem less weird that the others). I feel special.

/late post 'cause internet died

My oh-so eager rival I've mentioned previously challenged me to yet another daily battle (yesterday), this time Singles. He's yet t' win any of our 5~ battles, but he's a determined one, and I give 'em credit for never gettin' disheartened. Both of our teams are fully evolved ('cept his Pikachu, who he's stubbornly refusin' to evolve... must be waitin' for a Light Ball), so I expected a good fight. Contrarily, I 6-0'd 'em... the finishing blow bein' dealt to his Charizard Y by my Charizard X. Ain't that poetic. It happened 'cause Sylveon did massive damage, KOing two Pokes in the first two turns; most importantly, his Greninja. Never underestimate a fairy, looks can be mighty deceivin'.

... And then I proceeded t' lose a Double Battle to a random 'cause his Mega Blaziken somehow survived Mega Lucario's Adaptability-boosted Low Sweep and chip damage from Charizard's Fire Fang; Sky Uppercut didn't miss nor flinch neither... Had I attacked his Doublade with Fire Fang on turn 1 instead'a Blaziken, I would'a won. His last remaining Poke was said Doublade with just a sliver'a red health after barely takin' two of Pangoro's STAB Crunch's. I said it before and I'll say it again: the best of games come down to one move, be it one mistake or one incident of hax. But I'm still salty as **** 'cause havin' Fly instead'a Aerial Ace was the biggest reason why I lost... stupid HMs.

Also, Charizard is literally useless prior to Mega Evolution. Really bad STAB (which Tough Claws barely alleviates), poor stats... I need to replace 'em. A tad late in the game really, but he's dead weight. Most'a my team is overleveled anyways, so I might as well.

After that GG, I decided t' call it a day for my adventures in X (speakin' of, anyone remember the location of that guy who offers a Leppa Berry for a Sitrus?). Perhaps I'll get two badges today... assumin' a ton of plotstuff doesn't get in the way.

No one on Wiichat has a Chespin lawl. Speakin' of starters, Greninja > Delphox. But Braixen > everythin' but Greninja. This is the first time the Water-type starter is my favorite. Damnit Game Freak, why did ya have t' make his base form lame... ? I would've had a more balanced team too... ... ...

nononononono. You're part'a the problem as t' why Wonder Trade is infinitely worse than GTS. And it also breaks in-game. dont do it bro even out your karma

Edit: Yup, definitely my 5th badge I just earned. Easy gyms are easy. I remember struggling with them as a kid.
