Pokemon Battle Revolution with WiiKey

Does anyone know if the Pokemon Battle Revolution does anything to a modded Wii (since it is online and could quitely do something while you are playing) and if your using a backup DVD?

It shouldn't. As far as I know, the Wiikey also plays Mario Strikers Charged without any problems. Online, too. If the Wii is updated, nothing should happen. I don't guarantee for anything, though.
