bomb plant - pick it up

throw a bomb into it

boom, no more sucky plant

you use your sword on the spider bomb things and pick up the bomb andthrow it from above the red mushrooms into their mouth.

dont need to attack it first, fuse will last longer if you can manage to pick it up before it grows tall
