i thought the movie was pretty good exept it was a bit long and the story was a little hard to follow. to many switching sides and whatnot.

I really don't think that's the best way to be a good influence to the kids. Sure, being a Pirate is cool, but pirating in this way is evil. There is only one kind of movies that should be downloaded from the internet. This one kind is... well... porn.

Went to McDonalds after the film and I wanted to be a pirate really bad

Looooooooved the film, like the way they kept it open for a sequel, but didn't make it obvious.

i went to the first showing on the first day it was out, with all the crazy people, and during parts of the movie they started to clap, i just wanted t get up and punch some of them. the last time i heard someone clap in a movie was in 6th grade when we went on a field trip to a series of unfortunate events.

#1. Was great. Had not very many loose ends. Could've stopped.

#2. Came a while later. Horrible story. Only meant to set up #3.

#3. Came RIGHT after #2, is better than 2 but not as good as 1.

Eventually, people will say they should've stopped after 1.......

no, it will not, because they're makting more than just 3. read anywhere and you would've known that. what you said about the first matrix is way-off too because the first one set-up the second one and there were a lot of loose ends.

Not enough Jonny Depp humour
Queered up ending, and when i mean queered up i mean REALLY queered up.
I guess the music was great and some of the acting was good (geoffery rush is an acting legend)
Bits of humour, but no where near as much as in Pirates 1 and 2.
The story line was stretched too much.
The movie was pretty much just a mass digitally done project revolving around a continuous action scene.
Im sorry, but i was REALLY, REALLY upset after watching this. Not my cup of tea. Also, there was some retard lady next to me who kept talking back and jonny depp and geoffery rush comments and laughed like some psycho......
Anyway, this was all MY opinion, so dont avoid this movie just because i said so. Im just really, really, really upset now. It kinda killed the whole trilogy............

I saw the movie last Saturday, it was great, so good. Again Johnny Deep has a great perfomance, Jack Sparrow is cool in this movie, just like the others. And Keira Knightley is so hot...

wow, i gotta totally disagree with you guys. the second one was okay, but it was meant to explain the story of Davy Jones, Tia Dalma, etc without giving away the stuff of the 3rd one. they threw in a bunch of the old jokes to make it kinda funny, but in the end it wasn't that good. the 3rd one was the best, i think. it was almost, it seems impossible to me, funnier than that opening 10 minutes or so of the first one with Johnney Depp riding in on his boat, talking to the guards, saving Elizabeth, etc.

POTC:3 was by far the biggest piece of cinematic CRAP since the last 15 minutes of the second one.

Ugh, what a terrible movie, what a waste of 10 bucks. The third in the series lacked all the charm of the first two. The "funny" one liners, and asides from Depp where........NOT FUNNY. The one thing that made the first two so entertaining was just non-existent. This movie was nothing but a bunch of **** tossed together. An incoherent string of events which were connected with the integrity of a 56k modem.

Sure, the battle scenes were cool, the musical score was as good as ever. But holy ****, that was a bad movie. A 168 minute walk down the metaphorical plank which is a Hollywood flop.

Disney has proven once again, just how much money you can suck from the public by spoon feeding them the same crap over(potc) and over(potc2) and over (potc3) and over again. That last "over" was because judging from the ending there is gonna be a 4th. C'mon......





Oh P.S. Did anyone else notice in the scene were Depp was in the desert thingy that was the locker, his hair was blowing? No wind hu?.....didn't catch that one did ya, editors?
