Opera free trial available Dec 22

Holy crap this, the new internet chanel is cool! I'm using it right now to type this message. Hopefully they will release a keyboard for it.

I downloaded my opera browser this morning but it wont allow me to watch videos... :wtf: i tried youtube and porn neither would work those 2 things are the biggest reason i want the internet on my wii lol... Is there something i gotta do b4 i can watch streaming videos?

From what I gather the Browser doesnt have the latest version of Flash and that is not allowing users to see youtube videos from youtube pages other then the youtube homepage. Also imbeded youtube vids seem to work.

Note: This is all from what I have read thismorning, I have not DLed my browser yet.

Hey everyone! I posted earlier, but thought I'de try again.

My Wii Shop channel doesnt work right, but thats fine and dandy.

What Im wondering is if someone could transfer Opera to an Sd card, and than send it to me on my Pc. Its a round about way, and might not work, but Ide like to try. I figure the Internet channel might not be locked to a specific Wii when downloaded givin its a free Trial.

Anyone wanna play around and see what happens. :smilewinkgrin:

OK TOO THE RESCUE!!!!

i posted thi ssomewhere else on the forum, but if shop doesnt work go to "wii settings" ,wii connect24, turn "standby OFF" then test your internet connection, update if you can, then give it ago.

i couldnt log onto wiishop either but i turned standby off and now i can, now i am the proud owner of 2 new VC games, Toejam and Earl, and Mario 64 ^_^

Yea I was having problems logging in after i got the message from the bin N but after restarting the system im in! Im actually posting from the Wii browser right now. And i gotta say, videos look great on the system
