On a jap wii when entering wep is there english letters on the on screen keyboard?

Yea. new japanese wii is getting her for brawl but i heard that you get an error when you pop the disc in without a update that was from last summer or something...I was wondering that if i have to update via internet i have to put a WEP key in to e able to access my internet and if theres no english letters on the keyboard....then i'm stuffed....I would use a keyboard but you need an update for that too >_>. So does anyone have any info or any tricks i can use?

is the menu in english? if not, maybe you can change the language setting.
when that fails, search for the japanesse language. try to put those symbols in.

could always try to borrow some1's LAN adaptor
