I turned on my Wii for the first time in a while, and I got this message in the system's email or whatever:

Customers who had previously used 500 Wii Points to download the Internet Channel to their Wii console can now download for 0 Wii Points, one NES game of their choice (valued at 500 Wii Points) from the Virtual Console catalog. After updating your Wii Shop Channel, access this offer by pressing the “One Free Title” button on the top screen of the Wii Shop Channel. This offer will expire at 11:59pm PST on 12/31/2009.**

I don't see a "One Free Game" option anywhere in the Virtual Console menu. And my Wii System Software is already up to date. How do I get the free title?

You probably cant get the title since you didnt buy the internet channel. You probably got it for free, in which case you dont get the 500wii points.
