Official 'I got a Wii' thread

I happened to be walking around walmart after seeing epic movie. While walking around looking at movies i get a text message, from a number i have never seen,on my sell phone asking me if i want a wii. I tried to call it back and i get VM. i was like ehhh whos messin with me now. So i wonder over to look at psp games and i see teh WII. i was like thats kinda odd. go over get it leave. go home for hours of PHUN. I still dont know who sent that text message to me iv been trying to call it but get to answer. So now i wait as i try to update my wii on dial up( god its slow) but it seems to be working.

Was surfing around to find more info on surfing with it and found this site, thought it looked pretty cool so I joined.

Got my wii!!! Jan 28th , midnight at walmart.....they happened to open up a shipment after we asked about them.....they found us in the store and said they just found em!!!

All I did to get mine was to call Best Buy 3 times, then when they said they had it, called by bud over and he drove off(he was 3 min. away).Proud Wii owner's, and congrats!

I got mine yesterday, officially the longest time to setup console I've had but once up and running its so much fun.

Got Zelda on its way and NFS Carbon is a possibilty as I love my racing games.

I got one, took all day went to walmart and zellers at 8, target and toys r us 9 and costco and future shop at 10 today. This is after callin around for weeks. Didnt find one went home about ready to give up or buy a diffrent console. Wife called walmart on american side of niagara falls and they had 6 only 2 left by time she got there in 15 mins. I imagine all the other walmarts in upstate ny got theres today too, probaly canada soon. I know on a few EA games in the past I have gotten them a day earlier stateside. Just glad I waited man, opened box and played one for the first time, I fell like a kid again back with original nintendo, my daughters fighting over gametime lol.

Hey guys, I got mine at the FIRST shipment to my local EBGames. i got an inside tip about when they were getting them and how many, 2nd person in line since the manager only told 2 people. Me and my bud Mark. WOW, one long ass wait... but with a couple of hot girls ^^ wearing tight pants!!!

So anyway, gotta admit, best system ever. Hopefully Nintendo will continue to surprise us with their new technology like the rumored wireless nunchuck. K, im done talking =P.
