Official 'I got a Wii' thread

I got mine! WOO! ^_^

Basically, I reserved mine 3 days ago from Fona (a Danish electronics chain). I was pleasantly surprised that I didn't have to pay any fees, nor did I have to pay anything in advance. The guy there said they got 5 and I signed up as number 3. Yesterday an employee called and told me it had arrived and that I could pick it up today, which I did! Certainly a very pain free launch for me.
 
I got it and I love it :D.
Also got all the games I wanted, and an extra remote and nunchuck, I'm a very happy chappy today.
 
grats to you guys, have fun and dont break it! read the manuals to keep your wiimotes intact :)
 
got mine at 8:05 am in 'camberley game', i was also 9th in line of about 45 people. But i felt like a target walking back to my car, with a see through bag displaying a brand new Wii.:scared:

Woohoo, I finally got it today, thanks to Gamestation. :)
I collected it a little after 10 AM. Wish I'd known they'd have so many copies of Zelda/Red Steel though, I wouldn't have bothered ordering them off Amazon (they don't come until Monday).

The Wiimote takes some getting used to, but I'm starting to acclimatize to it and it's actually quite neat.

Congrats to all. I waited out in the cold for 7 hours when they first came out and snagged one. Got an extra Wiimote and Red Steel with it. Went home, went to sleep for four hours, then got up and played it for the rest of the day. Already though, I sold Red Steel, bought and extra Nunchuk and bought Call of Duty 3. Contemplating my next purchase, either Rayman or Monster 4x4
 
I have had mine delivered today, still waiting on the extra remote and nunchuck but have the console etc with Red Steel to get going with, also get Wii Play bought for me for Christmas, all looking good, just got to play one player until other controllers arrive.

Finally got mine. Time to change my sig. lol.

Waited 5 hours , so tired. cya in a year when i come out of the wii room.
 
Damn not getting mine til Monday/Tuesday, due to the strike with some delivery company. I was surprised with Woolworths though, I was actually gonna get my Wii today if it weren't for the strike :eek: Sorry I ever doubted you Woolies :)
