Ok, I need some tips on how to improve this style.

Well I'm not a signature pro but I don't like the black *wires* on him.

Well for people that know of the Anime they refer to her as Braver Red
(Blade bravers is a power ranger stlye sires in the anime and she is kinda in love with the lead person)

I think that's decent, although I would have the red take up less space on the sig.

Well I'm stuck, I tried merging my 2 pics, and now, the first pic's background is blocking the actual background. How do I get it off? I just want the pic in the foreground not its background too

If they are on two separate layers, then simply move the layer that you want above the other and erase the areas that you do not want.
