No instructions w/Rapala fishing game

Hi all - I'm new to Wii & new to this forum. Can anyone tell me how I land a fish when playing the Rapala Fishing Tournament? I don't have the guide and it keeps showing a sight with a fish in it and I can't seem to figure it out!

If it's anything like Zelda, you do it pretty much exactly how you would if you were actually fishing.

Wait for the bobber to go under the surface of the water, then "pull" by pointing the Wiimote up towards your face.

when you see the sight with the fish... you have to keep the pointer on the fish while pointing at it with your wiimote... then a set of buttons will show up on the screen like A left... hold A and left at the same time all while keeping pointed on the fish... then you'll land 'er right in the boat

Well, here's how I do it. All you do is point at the fish. Once a set of buttons appears on the top you don't have to point at the fish anymore. Now, press the buttons one at a time from left to right.

Example:
(on the top of the screen) A A B B

you would press A, then A, then B, then B.

And you caught the fish.
