No Individual Friend Codes For Wii

Nintendo Europe have confirmed on their Wii microsite that the Wii won't have specific friend codes for gamers to connect titles online. The fact the DS has seperate codes for each game has arguably been seen unfavourably among Nintendo fans, compared to having one user code which stays constant whatever game you're playing.

Its each Wii games has the same friend code not each system.

No that's not what it means. It just means that since the games will have one friend code there will probably be a lobby or something so you can challenge different people.

oh rite cool, thanks for the info, I hated tit on animal crossing where you had to have a friend code but it did make sense :yesnod:

Each game is assigned a friend code, if it's the same game it has the same friend code. You would use that friend code to online to challenge other ppl who have that game. Does that help

so in other words, friend codes are gone? because what your saying is every copy of lets say SSBB has the exact same friend code. that means its gonna be something like a lobby system or something. is that correct? i jsut hope we can have some sort of friends list like Xbox Live

There are friend codes that are the same SSBB but everyone dosen't have a diffrent one for that game. Other than that you got it.
