Nintendo Wii, updating worries.

Hello all.

Seems that Nintendo are going to get into grips with posting updates for download via online methods. Which is cool if you update once a month or so. But I won't be able to get my Wii online due mostly to bandwith restrictions here.

I wanted to know if anyone could tell me if there will be other ways to update your Wii? Maybe the approach that PSP took where the update comes provided within the game disc itself as well as online?

yeah, but you will probably have to get an update first. kindof sucks. Streaming firmware as it updates is really shitty of nintendo

True, can anyone tell how large the initial update file is right after buying your little white bundle of joy?

The update when you first get your Wii takes maybe like 5-10 minutes at most.
