I never got to play DK64. So ive been waiting for a sequel since SNES. But this prediction is exactly what its called, a prediction. Even if it was said that an old franchise would be returning. It could still be anything. There's so many Nintendo franchises its insane. Its more believe to think a developer like Retro Studios would be more suited for another sci-fi game, like StarFox. But w/e *crosses fingers for DK Wii*

Retro had 4 canceled projects for the Cube:

* Action Adventure
* Car Combat (Thunder Rally)
* NFL Retro Football
* Raven Blade

Football, Racing, some sort of action adventure title I assume was tentatively named, and what sounds like a hack and slash.

So, although we don't know why these games were canceled, it at least looks as if Nintendo is confident in Retro to make games of different genres. So, from the list we have there, we really don't know where Retro's next game could go.

Yay! We get a new Wii sports and more Donkey Kong! This is great!

I don't doubt a new DK as when the Wii was announced so was a Donkey Kong platformer ,but i think Retro is working on Kid Icarus with the Raven's Blade engine thats my thinking. Why scrap a whole engine
