Nintendo Announces Japanese Wii U Launch Date and Pricing

Ahead of its US and European press events today, at 3PM GMT, Nintendo has kicked off an exciting day for the fans by announcing that it will release the Wii U in Japan on December 8, Interestingly, there will be two different packages on offer, one priced at 31,500 yen, and one at 26,250 yen. Nintendo also announced that it will be releasing New Super Mario Bros. U for 5,985 yen and Nintendo Land for 4,935 yen on the day of launch.
