Hey what happens when your internal memory is all filled up and another update comes up? (even with a SD card inserted) I dont think it will let you save it to the card? or does it over write or just not let you? this could be a problem maybe?

For online and better functionality YES..... mine updated w/o problems the bet bet you have is to do an update now before your warranty wears off and you do one for your wii to then stop working the updates are not the cause of the problems a few Wiis are just messed up so its best to find if yours is one of them.....
