Need Help With Online Connections? Come Here.

Hi! :) I tried getting on to the net, but it won't let me connect. I did the connection test. It identifies my wireless connection and says the test was successful. When I go to the menu the internet is not there. Can you help?

You are probably still connected to the internet. I assume you want to access the web browser of the wii. You can download that off the wii shop channel.

help lol

how do i find the friend number or whatever it is called so my kids can play their friends on line. thanx for ya help in advance.

On the start screen (where all the channels are) in the bottom right hand corner there is a button with an envelope which takes you to the wii message board. Then click on make message then address book and there is the code.

Both parties then need to add each others friend code into the address book.

I cannot connect to internet even though I have gone through the requested steps. A strange thing is that I cannot see under WII Connect24 the 3 options " WII Connect24", "Standby Connection" nor "Slot Illumination"
What did I do wrong. did someone encounter this problem already?

You cannot see the wiiconnect24 options until you have connected your Wii to the Internet.

What problems are you having in connecting your Wii to the internet?

Sometimes (a lot) my wii gets that icon thing saying that the connection has been lost, and I don't know what to do. Any suggestions? I'm using a wireless netgear router just FYI

You need to set your country as the correct one. Go into the Wii setting and do that and all should be fine :)

Have you actually tried setting the country on your wii to the one that you're living in? As that would normally solve the problem. If that country doesn't work try the UK.
