Need Help With Online Connections? Come Here.

My Wii is hooked up via Wifi. I have a device nearby that I would like to be hooked up to the internet as well, but it has no wireless connectors. Is there anyway to hook the Wii up through the USB port and have the second device connect to the net THROUGH the Wii?

It's obvious to me that there are a ton of people out there that are having problems connecting their Wiis to the Internet. Why doesn't Nintendo have a 'consumer help' page', i.e one page of their website with on-line techical support?

It's frustrating only to receive 'answers' to my post that mimic my problem.

I have spent a lot of money purchasing Nintendo games and systems - and I'm not pleased with their customer support, or lack theoreof!

Alright, my family just got a Mac Mini and it says we should be able to hook up the Wii to it. I've googled manuals for it, but nothing seems to work!
Anyone know of a solution?

hi, i was wondering how i can connect the nintendo wii to the internet so i can access netflix. can you helP?

Hey,

I just updated my Wii (to something like Menu 4.0), and after realizing that I could move channels to my SD card to free up some space for more virtual console downloads, I moved several channels, including the Internet channel, to the SD card I had (still have) in the system. All was working fine until I went to the Wii Shop channel (still running off the Wii Memory, not the SD card), and was unable to connect to the internet. I have been using a wired connection (via the LAN-USB converter box), and haven't had an issue until now.

I then went to my Wii settings to run a connection test for the Wired Connection and it failed.

Virtually nothing had changed but the memory configuration of some of my channels. Is there any way to confirm what the problem is and hopefully resolve it?

Thanks

Where do I go to get directions on how to get started so I can play with friends around the country on the Wii machine?

I have a linksys wireless router. It is WRT1500N

Now before I had the router I had the usb. It worked fine. We got one and then it stopped working and we couldn't connect but only detect it. I thought it was broken and I bought a new one, and I haven't been able to get the setup finished.

Is it the settings, firewall or something else?

the internet channel is one that can't be moved cause then it screws with your internet settings. try moving the channel back then post with the result
