EA’s Need for Speed Most Wanted U hits stores in North America today and in Europe on Friday, March 22, delivering a driving game experience that was specifically built for Nintendo’s newest console, making this version of EA and Criterion’s game more fun, more social, and more interactive than ever.[/FONT]

Rob O’Farrell, Executive Producer said, “At Criterion Games, we really took the time to learn and understand the Wii U. When creating Need for Speed Most Wanted U, we wanted to maximize the console’s power to deliver an immediately fun and accessible racing experience. We are very proud of the end result.”

[FONT=&amp]As you might expect, many of the game’s Wii U-exclusive features are based around the Wii U’s GamePad controller. For example, the local co-op mode, Co-Driver, enables one player to drive using the Wii Remote controller or the Wii U Pro Controller, while another player uses the Wii U GamePad to support with control and navigation assistance via an interactive real-time map. This player can use just their fingertips on the touchscreen to distract chasing cops, switch from night to day, or turn on enhanced performance for any of the vehicles, or even control the amount of traffic on the road. Players can also switch into their favourite cars, track milestones, uncover the hidden gems of the city, and much more, all via the touchscreen. The entire game is also playable off-screen on the Wii U GamePad. [/FONT]

[FONT=&amp]Other editions to the Wii U version of the game are the inclusion of the complete Ultimate Speed Pack expansion, giving the player the chance to drive five of the fastest cars in the universe, including the Lamborghini Aventador J, and the Paganini Zonda R. [/FONT]
