Need For Speed Carbon Help!

How the heck do you race multi-player split-screen? We just rented the game and it's no where to be found.

lol go to quick race and set up splitscreen it's in the options somewhere.

I think you need to complete a certain amount of the game before it becomes available. Not sure how much need to be completed.
