Well, there's no question he used steriods and there's also no question that A-Rod will beat that record eventually. So, it deserves to be in the top ten, but there's no way it's number 1.

Personally, I don't agree with Bonds being made #1 (not because I think tennis deserves to be so highly above it, but because I don't like Bonds and the way he accomplished his goal), but it doesn't make that big of a difference to me.

Federer winning his 5th consecutive Wimbledon isn't all. He's setting records for all the Grandslams. He's closing in on Sampras's record of career Grandslams, he having 14 and Federer having 12. Too add to that list would be something arguably even greater: After winning the 07' Australian Open, he became the 1st player to win three different Grand Slams 3 years in a row. The 1st.

I've been wanting Federer to win the French for soooo long. All four in one year is what he should be aiming for. Damn that Nadal. I love watching Federer play. He's always so composed.

I'd have to say Barry Bonds wouldn't make it into my top 25, let alone my top 10. I don't believe him when he says he's innocent, and even though a lot of them came while he was doing it the "right way" I don't respect his record at all.

ya it took me quite a while to finish, but the hardest part was excluding things i wanted on that list, like tiger wood's 13th major championship, kimmy riiokoning winning the f1 title, the pats and dolphins, the bo socks and the boston celtics big 3

i didnt want to put it in there, but lets face it, it was too big, it couldnt of been ignored even if you tried, he was on the news all over the place, and the buzz all over the world was huge aswell, i mean, he's on of the greatest soccer players ever...and like it or not, soccer is the most popular sport in the world....it deserved a high ranking in my opinion

Very good number 1 selection. I had forgotten about that play. I would say 5 should be above 3. But that's my opinion. Overall, very good list!
