Don't worry about it. It took me a while to figure out I could get to the top. I also got stuck again shortly after that and it took me a while to figure out what to do next. Don't beat yourself up over these puzzles. Scan everything you can in the area (really scan everything you can in the game period) and take a step back and look at the picture as a whole. And hey, if you get stuck shut the thing off and try again later.

Well thank you, now if I could just figure out how to get high temp beams so I can unfreeze stuff I would be even happier.

I'm thinking you find those elsewhere and come back to get to those areas. I haven't found any beam or missile upgrades yet.

The only thing I have found is qty upgrades, but I would bet your right, its something you come back and do, darn Retro making us backtrack.

so where am I supose to bring the plane

ok i tried to use the ship thing and pressed Z but nothings happening. Can someone tell me what im suppose to do from the part where i just finished the bridge fight, then I entered this room where it won't let me turn back. There are some plane thing I can kill but more keep coming and there is something like stairs leading down to a circular place. I am so lost and I have no idea what to do.

Kill the enemies and then jump to the ledge (across the circle from the door).

So I have entered the room of the genereator, I shoot the three planes, and then what? Sorry I am not getting this.

I am inside, I just finished the fight, called my plane, saved, then went inside fought a couple of people, had to shoot 3 targets to open the door to the 1st generator and now I am stuck here. I went in to the door that was level to the bridge.

Hmm, I'm confused now. I thought all you had to do was jump from the circular platform across the gap, pull-twist-push the switch, turn around, go back across the platform toward the door, take a right, and then scan your hand. If you are not on the part I am thinking of, then try looking for a ledge to jump up to.

ye I am on the part you are on. For some reson there is a blue forcefield kinda of thing that is blocking me and will not let me threw. You didnt have this?
