A good idea but yes, it won't work.

As for the official WiiChat tournament being superior.. Well perhaps but the format for that tournament is awful. Two weeks per game is absolutely rediculous. It should be 1 game per week maximum, otherwise it just drags the thing out. In fact, as I may do soon, running a cup in one night would be better. For an extended set up a league would be much more appropriate.
