umm my take..
snes version- showed how fun this game could be. i never bought it but remember it being fun. now i try to play it and i find it hard to manuever and slide. takes practice i guess.
n64 version- my fav version, its like mario kart in 3d with much easier to use controls.
never played gamecube version-
i tried the ds version but not online. it is great also. i think i might prefer the 64 version though. i like that theres only 1 racer in the kart. unlike gamecube.
i also like that powersliding is still there. even more advanced...snaking. too bad the balloon battles are not wifi.
wii- well they did some big changes but looks like it might own. the wii wheel holds the wiimote and you can see the d pad there close to the thumb ..so maybe we can still power slide.. because without it, it might not be as fun. unless the gameplay is just great without it. that fat guy at e3 says online battle mode also so cool.
