Activision Publishing today announced that DreamWorks Animation’s Madagascar Kartz™ will be released in the US on Tuesday October 27th and in Europe on Friday 6th November on the Wii™. “The Madagascar® films are packed with personality and can be enjoyed by everyone,” said David Oxford from Activision Publishing. “We designed DreamWorks’ Madagascar Kartz with the same idea. With the whole family competing against each other as their favourite zoosters, you have never seen action this wild!”

Madagascar Kartz combines DreamWorks’ wildly popular Madagascar franchise with suitably OTT kart racing for the whole family. A bundle will also be available at retail containing a DreamWorks’ Madagascar Kartz steering wheel as well as the game.
Fans will have the chance to play as Alex, Marty, Gloria, Melman, King Julien or the penguins, using power-ups to pull off all manner of jumps, rolls and flips on tracks that will be instantly recognisable from the Madagascar universe, including New York City Zoo, the plane crash site and the volcano. Madagascar Kartz features split-screen head-to-head multiplayer action, where up to four players can race against each other in Championship, Quick Race and Time Trial modes.
